Sir/Mam, Have you had the developer and drum replaced recently, or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? There are certain house chores the copier does before "Ready to Copy" it is waiting for them to get done, so that equals "Please Wait". One big item is making sure the developer and toner are properly mixed inside the image unit underneath the drum or next to it depending on the series. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure/Developer Charge, and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8/Developer Charge. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum.

Estimated abnormal parts: • Fusing unit • Printer control board (PRCB) • AC drive board (ACDB) • Fusing heater lamp /1 (L2) • Fusing heater lamp /2 (L3) • Fusing heater lamp /3 (L4) • Temperature sensor /1 (TH1) WARNING • After replacing the defective parts, be sure to set the DIPSW 3-1 to 0. If DIPSW3-1 is set to 0 before defective parts are fixed, it may cause fire. Solution 1. Check the connection between the rear side connector of the fusing unit and the main body side connector, and repair it if any abnormality. 2. Check the connector connection and the wiring between PRCB and the temperature sensor, and repair it if any abnormality. 3. Check the connector connection and the wiring between ACDB and the fusing heater lamp, and repair it if any abnormality. (Wiring diagram: Main body (1/3): 3-E) 4. Check the installation condition of the fusing heater lamp and ON/OFF with I/O, and repair/replace it if any abnormality. (Wiring diagram: Main body (1/3): 3-D) 5. Check the installation condition of TH1 and temperature of I/O, and adjust/replace it if any abnormality. (Wiring diagram: Main body (1/3): 3-F) 6. Replace TH1. 7. ReplaceL2, L3 and L4. 8. Replace ACDB. 9. Replace PRCB.

Replace the ink cartridge.

Hi, from what I've read here: Error Codes Konica Minolta bizhub 163 , this is a Fusing Cooling Fan Motor malfunction, which suggests, I'm afraid, that you have to have it serviced. Kind regards, Jon Erik

Level Adjustment error. Has the drum and the developer unit and developer been replaced? Has the drum unit/assy. been cleaned including the sensor!!!!!!!!!

Did you replace them????? The machine uses the counter to determine certain voltage assignment to those parts so if you say you reset the drum counter to Zero then machine will assume it has a new drum and assign the required voltage for a new drum since its not a new drum because all you did is reset the counter with out replacing it ,you get bad copy issues codes and issues.

Was the main board replaced? The NVRAM chip was not properly replaced still mite be on the original board . Was the firmware properly installed

Sir, Power off the machine. Then remove the toner bottle, be careful the hole might be on the bottom and the toner is going to go everywhere. Then close the toner cover and turn on the machine. Let the machine go through it normal routine. When it asks for toner install the toner bottle correctly. If that does not work, you might have a bad motor or the home sensor or actuator for the toner bottle is bad worse case the control board is bad. Does it say image unit or drum????????

Have you checked the default setting in control panel for that printer?

Replace the cyan image unit. Did buy a third party???
