Try to reset the printer by doing the following;

1. Turn ON the printer.
2. Disconnect the USB printer cable at the back of your printer while the printer is ON.
3. Remove the cartridge.
4. Wait for the "Insert Cartridges" message to display on the message screen of the printer.
(You can skip this if your printer does not have this feature.)
5. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
6. Wait for 1 minute.
7. Reconnect the power cord.
8. If the printer does not turn on, use the power button to turn it on.
9. Reinsert the cartridges.
10. If the printer prompts you to print a calibration page or requests for a cartridge alignment, please do so.
11. Reconnect back the USB printer cable and try to print.

Ok, so you will need to reinstall the printer software and you can get this from the following link...

If you still have any remaining software on there from your printer, you will need to remove it. To do this you will need to go to start, click on devices and printers... in there if your printer is still installed you will see it. If it is, right click on it and click delete. You will then need to go and remove the software for the printer. To do this you will need to go to start, control panel and you will see an icon labeled programs and underneath you will see remove programs, click on this. In here you may see a few things relating to your printer, if so you will need to remove these as well. If not, you are good to go ahead and download the software from hp, the above link.

To download and Install ....

Unplug the printer before installation and hook it back in when you are prompted to do so, it will be sometime during the installation process. Download and install the drivers for your operating system and once all of that is complete and your printer is hooked back up try to print again.

Your Printhead has failed ,but before declaring it dead pls confirm whether paper was struck before receiving this error very badly and also whether you have been using it for a long time then the printhead needs to be replaced

*** Fix your HP Photosmart D7360 (Reset Code/Master Reset) *** 1- Turn off power and unplug from power source. 2- Open right side of printer (looking at the front). 3- Disconnect,by pulling gently, both white flat ribbon cables off the main circuit board. 4- Plug in power source and turn printer on. Wait till you get a error message and push "Ok". 5- Unplug power source. 6- Reconnect the flat ribbon cables by aligning and carefully pushing into the conectors on the main circuit board. 7- Plug in power source and turn printer on (Printer preparing occurred). 8- voila, the nasty error message 0xc18a0001 "Ink System has Failed" is now gone.
