Try going into Devices and Printers and making sure that your printer is set as default. also, when you hit CTRL+P it should give you an option as to which printer you would like to send the print job to. If you don't see your printer listed there as the primary printer, it is not set up as default. To set your printer as default click: Start>Devices and Printers>( in here you should see your printer listed. If you do and there is NOT a green circle with a white check in it, go over to your printer icon, right click your mouse, set as default printer and left click your mouse. this should set your HP printer as default.
