Hate to ask this question. But did you just install a new toner without removing the plastic strip?

What are you trying to reset? A maint code? System error? Need more info to help properly

error install black cartridge though the cartridge is new and installed properly

I think you have to change formatter board . cod. CC528-69002

The error applies to the embedded jetdirect firmware. I do not think they have a separate firmware update for the jetdirect but it may be included in the firmware upgrade for your printer.

Back of the machine. Fuser is the "hot" section right before the paper exits the printer.

Could be job that was sent. If happens on powerup with no jobs pending formatter

Check your network connection. I got that message on my 2055dn. The problem turned out to be a defective ethernet switch where the printer cable hooked up to the network. A new switch fixed everything.

As far as I know there is no way to move the page count forward.

Perform a firmware upgrade by visiting hp.com.

try to switch it off unplug leave for 15 min and switch back on.
