Your computer's WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) might be missing or probably the scan driver itself. Try to scan first using PAINT and see if it will allow you to scan. While doing this procedure, note down any messages that will show up and include it in your reply to me. The video below will show you how to scan in PAINT.
I will be waiting for your reply. Thank you for using FixYa.
If this is a new cartridge, HP says this can happen if the
cartridge is faulty. If this is the case, you can return the cartridge and exchange it...with a receipt of course.
If you have been using this cartridge and this problem has suddenly arised, then you may need to check your ink levels. Printing on photo or color paper will use more ink, you may have used up all the other colors.
In some cases a corrupt printer driver may be the cause.
So,
first thing you should do is get the cartridge replaced (for free). If
problem still persist, then reinstall printer
driver.
Hi, Most of the time the problem is with the cartridge.... The first thing that you want to do is replace the cartridge or cartridges in your printer....then if that does not work, check the contacts here the cartridges go in and contact to the printer...clean the contacts with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol... If it still does not work then you have an internal problem in the printer that will cost more to fix then the printer is worth...
You have to browse the software driver that you downloaded and look for scanner driver. Run the installation again. If the software driver is not complete, you can download here: You must select first the operating system and look below the drivers.
First of all, the HP C6380 must be connected locally from the PC that you are using. You can then use the scan option from your printer or scan option from the control panel of your system.

The WPA is the password you used to set up your router, typically a number or word or combination of the two. It will be the same that your computer uses to get on the wireless. If you don't remember what it is you'll have to reset your router and start again setting it up for both the computers and the printer. Make sure to write the new password down so you don't forget it. Best to write it on a piece of tape and put it on the router itself :)
