Hello, I have no idea what this error code means and can't find any detils anywhere. I have reinstalled, updated drivers, checked connections/ink/paper and everything I can think of.
Does anyone know where I can find a list of error codes, am getting no joy with user manuals/google etc.
Thanks in advance, Jon.
I got the same code on my ip3600, and stumbled across a quick fix which may work for yours.
1. Turn power off
2. Open cover as if you're going to change a cartridge
3. Turn power on
4. When printhead is in position to change cartridge, close the cover
That's all I did, and it seemed to work.

i dont have the manuals and i need to print wirelessly
can you help
I have installed Canon MP620. It works fine via USB. When I try to activate wireless connection, it finds my network OK but when I try to connect I get a window containing this message
"The printer could not be connected to the specified access point"
I realize that you posted this question over a month ago...but I'll still give you your answer in case anyone else is also experiencing this.
All you need to do is enter in the correct password...the one you gave your router. Which I realize was probably a while back, and you didn't write it down (tisk tisk), so here's how you find out what you typed, way back when.
open up your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, ect...). Now in the search bar type in your routers IP address.
mine is: 192.168.2.1
yours might be the same or might be something similar...like: 192.168.1.1
only type that, and include the dots...no www junk.
once you typed it in, hit enter.
and now you should be in your router...then steps hold true for all routers I believe (mines a belkin).
it will ask for a password, most people simply leave theirs the default password, my password was nothing....literally, I just left it blank and clicked 'next'. yours might be 'admin'...a google search should help you find your routers default password.
Ounce you have the routers password, you have access to change a lot of the routers features...including finding out that pesky passphrase that your in search of.
your welcome.
I accept cash & credit. I'll send you the bill. ;)

i just changed an ink cartridge. after that, i tried to print and an error message showed up saying to turn off the printer then turn back on. still not working. the error # is 6C10
The above suggestion worked short term, but in about a couple of hours, I'd get the same old error code again. Finally, I found a solution that worked for my MX860 on fixya.com written by "pineworks". The link is as follows: http://www.fixya.com/support/t4097826-aborber_full_error_message
Don't know if you've found an answer to this problem yet, but I had the same issue for about three months. Finally, I found a solution that worked for my MX860 on fixya.com written by "pineworks". The link is as follows: http://www.fixya.com/support/t4097826-aborber_full_error_message
For months, I've had to power off, disconnect from computer, and power on again to kick-start the printing. It was driving me crazy. So far, "pineworks" solution has been a permanent one. Been about a week and have had no problems yet.

How di I reset the ink counter on a canon mp620?
I found this at fixyourownprinter.com. Seems it works on most mp models and may work on your 620.
1) With the printer power turned off, while pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press and hold the Power button. (DO NOT release the buttons. The Power LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)
2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (DO NOT release the Power button.)
3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 2 times, and then release both the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the Alarm and Power LEDs light
alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm LED.)
4) When the Power LED lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the specified number of time(s) according to the function listed in the table below. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the Alarm and
Power LEDs light alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm LED.) [hth: I believe the power button has to be pressed once more after cycling the alarm button to complete the action. The power/resume-cancel button LEDs toggle to help you count.]

Printer worked fine yesterday but today everytime I try to print anything the status box shows printer is not responding and i can't figure it out. You can print from a copy or template on the machine it's self but it will not communicate with the pc anymore. Please help. Thanks!
I had the same problem after I accidentally pulled the power cord out of the printer - it turned out to be the firewall on my PC, when the printer reconnected to the wireless network it got a new IP address and the firewall was blocking incoming messages from it.

default admin password? I didn't set an admin password, what is the default admin password?
Is the installation software being installed on an account with administrator privileges? If not, log off and log back on with an account that has admin privileges. If your account has admin privileges, and the install asks for the password, and you know you have not set such a password, pressing the enter key may skip this problem.

error code U052; keeps saying incorrect printhead installed - the printhead has never been changed
Per Canon's website, and this just worked for my mp620:
Turn the printer on.
Open the cover.
Remove the ink cartridges.
Remove the printhead.
Re-install the above (this resets the printhead).
Close the cover.
Printer should initialize and go to home menu screen.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WHEN APPEARS ERROR B200?
The error B200 refers to an overheat error of the printhead. however the head usually damages the logic board and both require replacing as a pair. Sorry but probably not an economical repair and a replacement machine is better.
