No paper jam. Keep

Welcome to Fixya

The carriage should be moving freely all the way to the right. Error will show up if the carriage is not moving. Try solutions below:

Switch the printer OFF. Press buttons 1 + 2 + 3 and 4 (simultaneously using four fingers).
Keep pressing this four buttons for 10 seconds. Release the On/Off button (number 4) (Keeping pressing the others). After a few seconds (when the printer go ON), release buttons 1, 2, 3.

IF same thing will happen, inspect closely the carriage using a flashlight for any foreign object stucked underneath it. Check also the path where the carriage travels.

Hi
Go into maintenance tab in the printer file.( Control panel, hardware and sound, printers, your printer, select printer preferences, maintenance) Select roller cleaning and follow instructions to cure the problem.
From the error are getting there are two possibilities :
1. There is some paper or something jammed inside. Or the rollers have got misaligned due to previous jams.
2. The rollers have worned out with usage and need to be replaced.
Try to do this too :
Remove all ink cartridges. Turn off printer, then turn it upside down and shake it few times.
Then put it in right position, turn it on and see if you find some change
Open up the printer and blow air in it (using compressed air can) to remove all dust.
Try to rub the paper feed rollers with some rough moist cloth to increase its traction (grip).
If all this doesn't work than you can either send printer to manufacturer (which will be too expensive if its not in warranty) or to a local repair shop to get the rollers replaced.
Please get back to us if you have further query or else please accept the solution.

Paper jam - how to clear ?

Hello there, Usually the procedure for clearing a paper jam is quite simple. What you have to do is gently pull the paper which is jammed out slowly and gently. When the paper is completely removed the jam should automatically clear of but if it doesn't then restart the printer by unplugging it from the power source and reconnecting it this should automatically clear the paper jam. For more information on your unit here is a link to help download the User Guide.
Hope this support has been helpful?

6c10 error code how can

error says that either something is jammed in the purge assembly, the unit on the right that cleans the print-head, or the purge assembly is stuck or broken. If you unplug the printer with the carriage in the center you can use a flashlight to inspect the area on the far right where the print-head parks.

try this>
# Start with printer off
# Press and hold resume Button (triangle in the circle) and click "Power" button. Green led should be on
# While holding the Power button, release the Resume Button.
# Without releasing the Power Button, click "Resume" button for two times and release Both Buttons.
# Click "Resume" for four times then soon click "Power" button, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber).
# Turn off the printer and turn on again

The type of print head

This can be a result of a faulty cartridge or it is simply not getting in contact...........try this

1. Get a cotton and spirit or any alcohol (must not be a hash abrasive)

2. Gently clean the electronic head of the cartridge

3. Wait a few seconds and fix back and be sure to push the head firmly so it can get enough contact with the printer...........

do let me know what happens

all the best

Hello!

It looks like the print head is not making the proper contact with the printer.
And the worst thing about it is that, if the print head is faulty you might need to replace it.

First, try cleaning the golden copper contacts in the print head to where the terminal pins inside the printer touches. You will need to remove the print head from the printer by lifting up the top cover together with the scanning unit. Then, raise the lever lock to pull out the print head.

Once you have taken off the print head, use a cotton ball moistened with alcohol and gently wipe the golden copper contacts of the printhead. See image below

after cleaning return everything on place.

If this do not fix the problem. Replace the print head. New Print head cost $69.90 from the link below

To make sure that the T-Shirt printout is reversed, you need to go to Print>Preferences>Media Type> T-Shirt Transfers>OK>Print. Run a test printout on a regular sheet of paper to make sure this works for your printer.
Let me know if you have any other questions or problems. Please rate this solution. Thanks.
