Telephone eMachines, and order a replacement set of "System Restore" CD-ROM disks.
Probably about $20 for the set, and $20 for overnight-courier shipping.
Use those disks to reinstall the Operating System that was originally installed on the computer.

You can download Flash Player from Adobe here. Usually it's best just to download and install the latest version (10.3 now) since it will have all the latest features, enhancements, security fixes, etc. Click the link at the top of the page that says "Get the latest version" to get the installer program. Run the program and installation is automatic.

This is known as a dead system, either you have a blown Power supply or a dead Mainboard.
The fault could be many things.

Open CPU, remove RAM and put it back, If you have Grapic card then remove that and put it back, then reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery for 1 minite or more and put it back. and connect all cables, etc etc and power on the PC. best of LUck

cut some contents from drive d and paste it into any other drive or if you have some data that you dont need very often then you can save it in some external drive i.e pen drive or dvd's.

where does the comnputer fail to load at. If you have installed windows again and the computer fails to start it is a hard drive or cable problem. Does the computer give you a error message (like 1XX,2XX,3XX Etc.

Your modem/router should provide you with an ip address automatically. Otherwise(Im assuming that you are running Windows XP) go to Start>control pane>Network Connections and right click on your Local Area Connection. Click on properties and make sure your computer is set to receive configuration from modem/router automatically.

On one edge of the mother board, usually near to a corner, there's a whole load of tiny connectors, some single pin, some 2 pins. It looks like you've disconnected these.

There's no easy way, you'll have to check the user manual for the motheboard to see how these connections should be made.

If you don't have a manual, you'll have to go to the motherboard website, follow links for support and downloads for a PDF copy.

You're motherboard make and model will be printed on it somewhere, its a case of digging around.

You may need the latest Java Updates. Go to www.sun.com and download the latest Java Console to your computer. After installation, try to download Adobe Flash Player again. If it does not work then your operating system may not be compatiable with Adobe Flash Player 10. You may need to download an older version such as Adobe Flash Player 9.

You can find older versions of Adobe Flash Player such as 9 on www.cnet.com type in the search field (adobe flash player 9). After the options show up, choose the file to download and install.

Be sure to check your available memory and system speed which are also factors when installing flash software.

I had same problem,and what I did was to clean all around the fan and the aluminum air cooler ontop of the prccessor.After that it worked smooth till it got dirty again.Have you tried this.letm

Here are a couple steps you can do to verify something didn't come on correctly.
- Verify the monitor cable is connected tightly to the monitor and PC.
- Verify the power cable is plugged in.

If both of these check out is there a little LED light on your monitor that is on?
If not swap it out with another monitor and see if a different one works. If so we have a bad monitor.
If both do not work you may have a video card issue. Most EMachines come with a onboard video card which is bad news. If you have a onboard video card you will have to verify the warrantly though Emachine and get it fixed. Good luck and I hope things go well.
