hello, this error means that your graphic card can't process the game so if you want to play this game you should update your driver(graphic card) or buy a better one
Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "eMachinesSupport" or "Gateway Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Video rivers.
The RAM mybe be faulty or incompatible/wrong type for your computer.Check the specification of the RAM that is required for your computer. If you want to install 2 off 512 Mb RAM make sure the are the same make and model.
if you have a recovery option you can try that. that option allows you to reload the previously known good start up operating system before you added any new updates. you should have an option to choose a previous date.
The Ram specifications for your model are: 1024MB DDR2 (2 × 512MB), 533MHz (PC4200) Expandable to 2GB
If you are using Microsoft Windows, the operating system will recognize the memory by itself, there is nothing you have to do. Go to your start menu, right-click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties". In the lower right corner of the "General" tab, you can read the amount of memory available to you.
If you want to know how to put RAM into your computer, have a look at this web page - it's a good video instruction. Make sure not to touch any of the electronic parts on the stick itself - try to hold it on the side.
If your computer does not recognize the newly installed RAM it can have different reasons:
The RAM is bad. Nothing you can do but send it back and get it replaced.
You got the wrong RAM. Look at Crucial's webpage (link) and compare the specs with what you've got. They are very reliable and the memory I bought from them always worked.
It is possible that you have to install the RAM in pairs. (eMachine's web page (link) has no download for a manual and does not cover this topic.) It means, that either both memory slots have to be populated or even populated with the same kind of sticks (2 x 512MB, 2 x 1GB).
Solution: try to replace one of your old sticks with the new 1GB stick and see if that increases your memory. If that doesn't work, take both of the old sticks out and put the new 1GB stick in the slot closest to the CPU (look at the video: it's that unit with the fan on top). If that doesn't work either, try the other slot. Last resort would be to contact eMachine. You can either use LiveChat or call them. The contact info is on their web page.
If all fails, come back here and leave a comment including what you did. I will check back and then we go from there.
Hi, If the computer is hot near the electrical plug in the back of the computer then the power supply needs to be replaced. This will also cause overheating problems if the fan does not exhaust enough air. You should not run the computer in this condition because the power supply can short out and take other components with it. Also there is a risk that it will burn up. Power supplies are very inexpensive and can be changed by anyone with basic computer repair knowledge. Hank
Hi, My Name is Henry. I am one of the technicians here.
When you made that system restore, you took your system back to when it did not have some drivers in them.
To solve this problem simply re-install drivers using the drivers CD. You can either choose to install all drivers or just the audio drivers.
if you do not have this CD go to the emachine website and look for the drivers there. Download and install it and and whalla! you will be up and running again.
There is a fairly lengthy process involved provided by microsoft to get it up and running again ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 ) however I would think it may be easier to just put in the Windows XP disc and re-install.
The error is usually related to the computers registry. New software installations could cause this to fail, malicous website could cause problems also, even turning off the computer without allowing it to properly shut down could cause this.
If this happens for every disc inserted (make sure that it's not just a scratched or dirty disc.), the laser lens probably needs to be cleaned. Since this is a desktop computer, you can't get to the lens very easily. Open the tray and use a can of compressed air to blow out the inside of the drive. If this fails, you can buy a lens cleaner disc and try that. (Some manufacturers don't recommend this, but I've never experienced any issues with it. Just be sure that the disc is made for cleaning CD/DVD drives.) The final option is to remove the drive from the PC case, remove the cover, and GENTLY clean the lens with a q-tip and alcohol. If all else fails, optical drives are extremely inexpensive, and very easy to replace. **Note:Removing the case from the drive will void any applicable warranty.
Guessing, but it sounds like your hard drive has been damaged. You may need a new drive, or at least repairs. If you have a "rescue disk", give that a try.
Here's a video on how I fixed my emachines boot problem. Almost anything can get in the way of your computer booting. Software, hard drive, RAM, motherboard, processor, etc. Below the video, I attached a link to a tip I made about computer crashes.

Please specify how exactly you're trying to make them work, what machine you're trying to make them work with, and what kind of connection your speakers are using.
General info:
Speakers usually get connected via 3,5 mm plug into the green round socket in the back or front of your computer. In Windows, if your speakers are properly connected and set up, right click on the sound pictogram in your taskbar and choose "Playback devices". Set your speakers to be the default playback device by left-clicking on the preferred device of your choise and clicking the button "Set default" below.
In general, you have to order recovery disks from the manufacturer of the machine.
In your case eMachines Store eRecovery is where you can order it, or you can initiate a discussion with tech support.
Also, many machines give you the option to burn your own recovery media when you first set it up. Most people skip this step. You should do this before you have problems. Search your machine for the word Recovery and see if you have an installer routine there.

Flashing the bios is a last-ditch move. What happened before that?
Did it work before you flashed it? If the unit is interrupted during clash, or if it is the wrong bios, your goose could be cooked.

There may be something you can use, especially if you have a floppy drive (a real one, not a usb-one).
You maybe can use flash drive in the usb port, but that's a long shot.
Good luck with that. I'd be looking at a new motherboard. They can be had pretty cheaply.
I understand that you want to reinstall the Operating System on the computer. Select models have the ability to have the operating system reinstalled from a hidden drive built into the computer. To start the system recovery:
Restart the computer
When the eMachines logo appears on the screen, press the Alt and F10 keys repeatedly.
When prompted with a boot screen, hit the Enter key.
After the system recovery program has loaded, follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.
If the ability to reinstall from the previous method is not available or fails during the recovery, recovery of the operating system will need to be from Recovery Media.
Insert the disk labeled System CD into the computer's disk drive and restart the computer.
When the eMachines logo appears on the screen, press the F12 key repeatedly.
Select either CDROM or DVD as the boot device, this may vary depending on the system.
When prompted for the Recovery CD, remove the System CD and insert the Recovery CD.
Note: If there are multiple Recovery CDs, please insert the first Recovery CD.
After the system recovery program has loaded follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.
Refer the URL for more information and for the link to order the Recovery media if required.
