Beeps

Beeping vary with each manufacturer, but verify if your wires are firmly connected (keyboard, mouse, video, etc.) If problem cotinues, then verify computer memory, you need to open it, and unplug/plug each memory card, sometimes just one are damaged, so... try each one alone.

Computer problems

make sure the boot order is starting from your hard drive the directions on how to change your boot order usually vary depending on what version of bios you have but they are usually self explanatory. Restart your computer During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key this will vary depending on your computer and operating system Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

this changes the boot order and see if that solves your problem if not you will need to replace your modem I do hear that a modem can also cause this. hope this helps

Added 2nd hard drive network adapter stopped working

is the network adapter onboard or an add-on card. if it's an add-on you may have accidently unplugged either the card or the cord when installing. if it's onboard you should go to device manager and see what IRQ's the hard drives and the network adapter are using, they may be conflicting, if that's the case just change one of them to something different. Machine comes on but will

hard drive failure, possibly due to a virus, go buy a new harddrive and install windows on it and be careful, you can re-route your old harddrive by switching the pins to slave and then connecting it to the pc while off and unplugged after installing new hard drive and windows. then you can access your photos and such on the old drive before opening the old drive in windows scan the whole drive with a virus software.

I have an emcahine T5224

Hi,

You stated that it loads that OS on the other computer. Is this by taking out the hard drive and putting into another PC? If it is, then I would have thought there is h/w issue elsewhere in your PC...

Usually if you have a message saying that it could not load windows properly, it is an OS issue which I would recommend you fix by using your emachines recovery disks.

Hope that helps

, I think I figured out the problem I posted

You can download an OEM version from bittorrent sites, and as long as you have the genuine certificate of authentication label on the pc case you can install and activate it legally. Just make sure you get the correct version to match the label, e.g Home or Professional.

Vista is stuck in a startup loop where recovery

This can happen from an executable or other system files failing to load properly such as a video driver, etc. Try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 on start up. Also on rebooting enter system configuration and set the start up option to first boot from CD then USB, and finally Hard drive. This should then allow you to install from CD. Then put windows CD in drive and when you reboot you should see boot from CD press any key, located in the upper left of your screen be fast as this is only displayed for about 5 seconds. I have had similar problems and this has worked.

Guessing, but it sounds like your hard drive has been damaged. You may need a new drive, or at least repairs. If you have a "rescue disk", give that a try.
