My first guess since i have no idea from your question what CV-10 is, i think software is so I think from the manufaturer, or if this is a casio propietary software you will have to get it from them alone.

I can think of more than 3 organisations that have 'e08' so I need more information please

Esther: The exact functionality you are requesting is located on page 52 of the Casio TE-2000 user manual. Pages 48 through 55 are a good read for you as well. You can access the manual at this location: http://support.casio.com/en/manual/006/TE-2000_EN.pdf Specifically, you will be changing the store logo and message header information to reflect your current store. The process is rather straight forward, and only requires about 5 to 10 minutes of work on your part. Specifically, you'll need to decide on a few things first:

1. Do I want a Graphic Logo?
2. Do I want a Logo Message?
3. Do I want top print a message at the bottom of the receipt?

Those three questions will help you program your unit. As the instructions on Page 52 outline, you'll need to insert the PGM (programming) key into the machine, and then do the following:

1. PGM Key, turn to Program
2. Press key '3'
3. Press key 'Sub Total'
4. Enter: '2122'
5. Press key 'Sub Total'

From there, you have to enter a special code made up of the first 3 questions: In your head, start at 0, and then add:

1. If you wish a Graphic Logo: Add 0 (in your head)
2. If you wish a Text Logo Message: Add 1 (in your head)
3. If you wish to print a commercial message, Add 2 (in your head)
4. If not, just add 0
5. If you wish to print a bottom message, Add 4 (in your head)
6. If not, just add 0

Now, take that total (whatever it is), and enter it. So, if you want a Text message AND a commercial message at the top of the receipt, but no bottom message, it would be: 1 + 2 + 0 or 3. You would then enter '0000000' (that's 7 0's). So, that would be '30000000' You then press the 'CA /AMT = /TEND' key. And then 'Sub Total'. From there, you can program your message following the instructions. I know it can sound confusing, but these are just ways the machine understands what exactly you want it to do. Please refer to the user manual, as it outlines the exact process you need to do. You will also need to refer to the character code table in the user manual (on page 54) just to be able to enter text as it is. I hope this has helped, --Phillip

Hi. You don't want to reset it unless you have to, as this will mean a lot of extra work for you. Better to find out why it won't let you program it.

First of all, do this:

Turn the power off at the wall
Turn the key to PROGRAM
Now keep your finger on the RECEIPT FEED button while you turn the power back on, and keep holding it down for 5 seconds.
Let go, and you should see "FFFFFFFFF" on the display
Press SUBTOTAL
Wait for print out.

On the print out, near the bottom, you should see "FC" on the left, and then a number on the right.

I have an E come up on our till, the till is a Casio TE-2000, Can anyone help what this means or ways of repairing this

The TE-2000 should allow price over-ride as standard, so instead of just pressing the item button to ring up the preset price, type the price first on the numeric keys (NO DECIMAL POINT, so $5 = 500) then press the item button to sell it at the new price for that sale. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Press your "Auto PGM" key until you see CF card. Then back up and or restore from there. You may need to format the card also, especially if it is over 4Gigs.

Seems like u need to re-program ur Cash Register...
before that, Please try...
1. Key turn to OFF
2. Keep pressing [Receipt Feed] button
3. Key turn to PGM
4. Release [Receipt Feed] button
5. Press [Subtotal]
6. Key turn back to REG & try to use

First you need to ensure that the data *is* in fact backed up on another server or storage device. Then you can choose which one you save it to. If not, then check where the data is being saved to and match up the model and number is probably your best bet!

u mean no power at all?
If yes, try to reset it. (NOTE: This method will RESET all of ur programmed data!)

1. Off power
2. Take out the AA size backup battery
3. On Power
4. The machine should show "0000000000"
5. Fix the AA battery in
6. Program the Date & Time
7. Ok

Try setting the mode switch to "Z" in reset mode, that should read and erase the trans. data in memory.
