Air conditioning unit
Hi! AC Unit
Sorry you have had so much trouble. Sounds like with the factory warranty being in effect the whole outside condensing unit should be replaced. With this type of problem there could be some blockage in the AC lines. With out some pressure reading it is hard to tell if the expansion tube is plugged, or there is some other major problem. If your service tech is unable to diagnose the problem you may need to get a third opinion. Goodman may have a factory representative in your area. You may be able to find some help with a different dealer or online. Good Luck! I will try and look for any changes.

Goodman A/c not working. cannot find manual. landlord away
Try replacing the batteries first. The blinking may be the battery indicator.
The fact that it blows air when you turn the thermostat to cool tells me that the thermostat is probably working. The problem is most likely outside at the condensing unit. There are lots of potential problems that could be found out there. Sounds like you will need a technician.

Needs a fuse, what amp?
Consider the power consumption and Voltage of Air conditioner . Why you might ask because you can calculate likely current requirement. Power = Voltage x Current. So Current = Power / Voltage. Eg a 4800 Watt power on say a 240 Volt supply. Current calculation 4800/240 = 20 amps. As a rough guide what fuse rating is the fuse in the fuse box of the house for the AC power point. I would think 15 amp for lighting and between 20 Amp to 30 A for power.
