the installer selected a fan speed that would be a compromise between air necessary for heat and cool. check what color wire he used coming off fan motor. black is usually high speed.

rarely is the blower motor fused that might be a 2.5 amp fuse read across the fuse if you have 24 volts it is bad.

need serial number for age.

if you were tripping a 60 amp breaker i would replace contactor that can burn contacts quick.

yes. if the power head goes bad it could feed excesive amount of refrigerant.

heat is directly related to amp draw. coud be a breaker going bad or the buss it plugs on corroded i would check breaker by taking it out and examing the part plugging into buss. also possible excessive amp draw of unit.

are you speaking of the outside fan or inside? compressor should be a little warm but not boiling hot. the unit could be low on freon. if low it will run a while but the compressor will overheat and shut off leaving the fan running by itself ouside. if nothing outside is running check power. if you have power check the contacted outside to make sure it's pulled in. contacters are bad about going out on goodman untis. Also ants can get under contacts.

Low on refrigerant charge! Low side line should be cold like a beer can at the inlet of the compressor with some sweat beads around it. 55deg. The discharge should be around 125deg just hot enough you cant hold it long!

Heat pumps require a reversing valve for heat operation on the outdoor section, a control signal to a "O" terminal or orange wire is required for heating and cooling depending on the thermostat and out door unit requirements. just hook the brown wire to one terminal of your new capacitor and brown/white to the other dont worry about the rest if it leave the wire off the f of the old three wire capacitor you now have two two wire capacitors one feeds compressor the other feeds fan

You will need to call Goodman. I rely can't imaggin how the compressor can start with out a start run capacitor.
