The satellite pro p300 will not start, power, charge lights come on, no beeps
Check the time if you can, doubt it since it can not display anything. This usually happen when:1. The memory card is bad, needs to be replace.2. The video card is bad. Since it's a laptop, then the problem is with in the motherboard.Sometimes when the BIOS battery is drained, it also stop the computer from displaying. To see the battery you must take apart the computer. And the last thing in the list is the monitor it self. Maybe the monitor got damage some how and it won't display anything. To troubleshoot, I recommend you start with the memory, and since the computer must be 64 bits, it needs 2 memory card of at least 2gb. each stick, if one of them is damage and both are still connected to the motherboard, the monitor won't display anything either.

Hi i had to reformat
You will need to use the Toshiba recovery CD for that. Unfortunately, if you did not create a recovery CD when the computer is still working, the only way you can get one is to call Toshiba and purchase a recovery CD. Otherwise, you will need to buy a Windows CD as well and all the other application that comes with your computer and install them manually. I do hope this information helped.
