When you boot the laptop blank screen comes

Your problem sounds a little bit different. I can't even get to the login screen. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete does nothing. Task Manager will not appear. The installation of Vista worked fine for the first couple of months so I know that all of the hardware and drivers were at one time working beautifully.

When booting into safe mode I see crcdisk.sys (the last driver in the list) loads and then the screen tries to go to the GUI. This is where my computer seems to be executing something like:

int i = 5;
int hangForever;
While (true)
{
try
{
hangForever = i / 0;
}
catch
{ /* 2nd verse same as the first */ }
}

All of my hard drives have had their file systems check with chkntfs. All hard drives work with the install disk.

My cq50-211nr laptop was accidentally dropped and has a crack.

Ordering the part and replacing it yourself may be just a tad cheaper, but at a risk, may break new screen or cause problems with more parts, I would take it to HP, then again, an LCD screen replacement costs about the same as a new compuer. It's really up to you.

Good Luck ;)

Heats up and shuts dwn

Hello kiran_bhatta,

I also had a similar situation like this. I had a prehistoric laptop with an AMD Athlon as its processor.

AMD had always had this reputation of having their processors heat up real fast.

The reason why your notebook shuts down is because it's trying to protect its hardware from damage like burning itself up because the temperature inside is just way too hot.

My best suggesttion will be for you to get a notebook cooler. Find a cooler has its fan or fans directed at your processor.

It also helps if you can use your notebook near a ventilation equipment like an aircondition or an electric fan to soothe the intense heat your processor generates while you do your thing.

My case was it would shut down if I watch videos, do disk cleanup or anything that requires a lot of work from your processor.

Hope this helps.

I have lost my all drivers of my laptop were these

The HP/Compaq website will have them under the support link. Lookup your specific model # and select the operating system you are using. A list of all available drivers will then appear. Download and install those that you need and then reboot. Hope this helps.

LAPTOP IS NOT TURNING ON

Sir,
) Typically you can start your computer in safe mode by depressing the f8 key at the same time you boot. That will tell your computer to load only the essential drivers and OS components to boot the window screen. From safe mode, you can delete, clean up temp files, or roll back to a new setpoint date when your computer was working. You can try this and clean your system of any p&rn flicks and viruses that may have invaided your system!

2) It is rarely a motherboard failure unless you did some major drop-testing of your laptop computer. Even then the hard drive or memory getting dislodged would be more normal course of action. The manual is very clear on how to open your laptop, check and see if the memory got shocked out of the shocket and check the HD for the same issue. Try removing and reinserting the HD and Memory sticks back into their shockets; then try booting.

3) Msy be your battery might dead. In some systems if the batter is dead it will not take any more charges and will not let you boot. Buy a new battery and replace it.

4) Any drop-testing conducted on your lap-top when it is on would cause major damage to the HD spinning disc to crash into the pickup head. This is called a HD crash and damage the information on the disc. Replacing the disc with even an empty disc at $50 which prop you to load an OS means the HD is trashed. Re-install the HP backup OS and any other software onto the new HD and go on with your life.

Thanks
Good luck

Laptop sound works when using earphones, but

When you plug in headphones, very often they get accepted automatically and the sound port changes in the OS accordingly as well. But when you unplug them again, it happens quite often that the OS is not switching it over on its own (even still happens in win 7). Just go into the volume mixer panel/options and change the output back to the port of your speakers.

Driver required for Coneaxant HD-Audio Smart audio

This audio driver is part of your Vista operating system. This is why there is no driver to download. You have two options to recover this driver,

1.Use the Recovery Disks for your laptop. Install them into your DVD drive, and follow the instructions. Suggestion; Choose -> Repair

If you do not have the Recovery Disks, (You are supposed to make them as soon as you get the laptop, OR, you can order them from HP.com/Support>Contact HP)
then this is your second option,

2a.Click on Start>All Programs>Recovery Manager>Recovery Manager
Follow the instructions. Suggestion; Choose -> Repair

2b.Restart the computer>then press -> f11 <- as soon as the ->
"Press <F11> for recovery", message is displayed on the screen.
Follow the instructions.
Suggestion; Choose -> Repair

My screeen gets all blurry and i have these white

Is this all the time or with windows? If it is all the time then it is a hardware issue, probably the video card dying or the lcd dying. If it is only periodically then it might be a lose cable or bad hardware configuration.

Can't find waere to put the sandisk adapter?

the place where you insert it should be somewhere around the left side of your laptop. It looks like a narrow, rectagular strip and make sure your adapter fits in the slot.
