Haier HTQ21JABRS Top Freezer Refrigerator - Page 3 Questions & Answers
I have an Haier PRCS25TDAP Side-by-side refrigerator that won’t stop dinging. How can I stop it?
If your Haier PRCS25TDAP side-by-side refrigerator is dinging and you're unable to stop it, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to fix it:
- Check the door: Make sure all the doors are properly closed and aligned. If the door is not closed properly, the refrigerator will think it's open and will continue to ding.
- Check the door switch: Make sure the door switch is properly aligned and not damaged. The door switch is responsible for detecting when the door is open or closed and can cause the panel to malfunction if it is not working properly.
- Check the control board: If the above steps do not resolve the problem, the control board may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
- Check the settings: Make sure the temperature settings are correct and not accidentally changed.
- Check the ice maker: If the ice maker is not functioning properly, it could cause the refrigerator to ding.
- Check the water supply: If the water supply is turned off or clogged, the refrigerator will ding continuously.
- Check the water filter: If the water filter is clogged, the refrigerator will ding continuously.
If you are not familiar with any of these steps or if the problem persists after trying these solutions, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a professional for further assistance.

Haier CFL-CFE f/f is very noisy
Intermittent noise is usually a sign that it is not flat/ on an unstable floor. The truth of the matter is that all appliances today are built cheaper as time goes on and that makes funny things happen including noise.
The fact that it is not happening all the time tells me that it is not a mechanical failure. IE: if a motor goes bad,it stays bad and does not have mood swings 3 times a day!
Easy fix.. When it starts making noise, just put your hand on the side of it and gently push. If it gets softer/goes away then you need to shim a corner or adjust the feet (most delivery guys drop it and leave. They do not adjust feet/ doors/ or anything. They just deliver) You can try different parts until you get it right but the hard part is being there when it happens

The wire that fixes to freezer compartment with a metal prong has come adrift
It sounds like the wire you're describing is the defrost thermostat. The defrost thermostat is responsible for controlling the defrost cycle of the refrigerator. The flat piece of metal with hooks at each end that you mentioned is likely the clip that attaches the thermostat to the evaporator coils in the freezer compartment.
To reattach the thermostat, you will need to follow these steps:
- Locate the evaporator coils in the freezer compartment. The coils are typically located in the back of the freezer.
- Carefully place the hooks of the clip onto the evaporator coils.
- Insert the metal prong on the end of the thermostat wire into the clip.
- Ensure the wire is properly seated in the clip and that the clip is securely fastened to the evaporator coils.
- Put back the cover panel of the freezer compartment
- Check that the thermostat wire is not pinched or crimped and that it has enough slack to move freely.
- Plug the refrigerator back in and turn it on.
It's important to note that working with the refrigeration system could be dangerous and it's always recommended to contact a professional if you're not comfortable with the task.

My haier 10.5 model 10TG31SW is not cooling neither top or bottom any clues
If your Haier 10.5 model 10TG31SW refrigerator is not cooling, there could be a few different issues causing the problem. Here are a few things you can check:
- Check the thermostat: Ensure that the thermostat is set to the appropriate temperature. If it is set too low, the fridge will not cool properly.
- Check the condenser coils: The condenser coils may be dirty or clogged, preventing the refrigerator from cooling properly. Clean the coils with a brush or vacuum.
- Check the door seal: Make sure the door seal is tight and not damaged. If the seal is not tight, cold air will escape and the refrigerator will not cool properly.
- Check the evaporator fan motor: If the evaporator fan motor is not functioning properly, it could cause the refrigerator not to cool.
- Check the compressor: If the compressor is not functioning properly, the refrigerator will not cool. It may need to be replaced by a professional.
- Check the refrigerant level: If the refrigerant level is low, it can cause the cooling system to fail. This is a job that should be done by a professional with the right equipment and experience.
- Check the defrost system: If the defrost system is not working properly, the evaporator coils will frost over and the refrigeration will not work.
- Check the power supply: Make sure the fridge is properly plugged in and that the outlet has power.
Please note that it's also possible that there could be other issues causing your refrigerator not to cool, so it may be best to seek the help of a professional if the above steps do not resolve the problem.

Can I remove the freezer compartment from my Haier HSE12WNAWW?
not possible to remove the freezer
the most likely [problem is that the seals around the freezer door are not sealing properly
that allows the atmosphere into the freezer and the humidity then freezes and turns to ice , causing the problem
adjust the door and change that door seal
when defrosting the freezer, remove all the frozen food, and place a fan at the open door
atmospheric temp air will defrost a badly iced freezer in around 1 hour with the use of the fan on high speed
