I have a 400kw unit that does the same thing, I found the regulator needed to be execersized. when the unit starts I shut the isolation valve ahead of the regulator and then when it almost shuts of the gen. i open the valve back up and then everything is ok, hopefully after awhile it will work right.

Check the spark plugs, ignition coil etc and try to start it manually.

Check for low oil or over temp.

I have never heard that generators need to be perfectly level to prevent generator damage. It doesn't compute -- auto generators/alternators run at all sorts of angles -- so do motors. And for the damage to occur in 2 hours running doesn't sound right either.

It does sound like the generator itself is not working/generating properly, but I doubt it was caused by the slab.

I believe the charging circuit is part of the main controller board. The board controls the relay that cnnnect the battery to supply power for start and for charging. Check to see if the relay is good.

Unplug the oil sensor.
The oil sensor is located behind the oil filter. I unplugged the oil sensor and it fired right up. Plugged it back in and it runs fine.
It might be because it is cold.
I don't know why but I turned it off and it starts right up now.

The charger might be bad and you should get a new charger

Likely an extremely low or dead battery.

there could be a couple of things wroung the breaker tripped have to reset the breaker the plug in went bad a wire came off or broke or the doid blew out you will need a meter to get in and check these out to see if any of these are bad most of the time it is a bad breaker that could be esily fixed or wire to the plug in either way they are pretty easy to fix.good luck
