Honda Mmd 5000 Watt Electric Start Generator W/ Engine Ngk 6000HE - Page 6 Questions & Answers
What is the gap between the module and flywheel on a eu6500is Honda generator
I don't know.
The air gap isn't usually critical. It needs to be a small gap for best efficiency but must not be so close it will touch if expansion brings it closer at operating temperature.
The last air gap I adjusted was on a Briggs engine and that was 0.008", 8 thou which I believe is fairly typical for that type of application.
Honda generator EB3500 wont idle when put into auto idle, it will basicly want to stop
Carburetor is probably gummed up. Try running some "Sea Foam" in your gas, run it until the mix is in the carb and then shut it off and let it sit. I had to let a snowblower sit a week until it dissolved all the gum. If your using gas with Ethanol, this is a common problem. Try finding a station that sells gas without Ethanol or use Sea Foam to keep the Ethanol from breaking down. (It can break down in as little as 30 days).
Honda generator eb4000x gfic tripping
if you are using a lead that has a active , a neutral and a ground wire in the lead , there is no real reason to ground the gen set itself
the neutral will not be bonded to the frame as that would create a possible short during operation
the circuit is simple --active is the power wire --neutral is the return wire from the applications and the ground wire is for dead shorts and to prevent electrocution
Honda GX390 Generator not performing under load.
a GX390 Honda Motor but the used generator stator can be different cannot give more suggestions then measuring the circuitbreaker it can be broken the suggestion 60 mf capacitor can have trouble and electronic modul and bridge rectifier for some other dc connectors the coil diodes inside the stator. several options to go.
I have a Honda 7000
If the generator is an auto stop/start type for standby use, it would seem those solenoids are the reason why fuel isn't getting through. It would be a fairly sensible method of stopping the engine remotely.
An auto start/stop generator would need a battery for starting purposes, a battery that would presumably also provide current to energise those solenoids and allow fuel to flow.
I suggest you refer to the instruction manual in the first instance...
