This is usually due to the contact for the stop button not working. Normally, the message "Pin Code Expired" is replaced by "Enter Pin code" when you press the stop button to access the keyboard. If the stop button doesn't work, the mower thinks the keyboard cover is still closed and therefore continues to display "Pin code expired".Open the large lid (the one that gives access to the mowing height selector) and look near the stop button, there's a small rectangular thing connected to a wire and held in place with a metal clip. Take off the clip with some flat object like a screwdriver, then take out the rectangular thing, which has a tiny button on it. Press the button a few times to unstick it.
