AM14C slight leak at the bottom of the water deposit tank,
I love these machines. Keep it and fix the leak.
If you have a leak. You have to find out where it is coming from. Dripping water from the bottom of tank can be coming from a number of different places and at different times thru out the cycle. The rinse cycle or wash cycle or all the time.
The first place to check is the pump. It will leak during the wash cycle. Especially from the top gasket. This one commonly goes out.
The pump motor shaft seal will leak all the time but will drip from motor, not the tank area. You want to fix this before it ruins your motor bearings or motor.
But since you have a corner machine, the first thing to check is the rear door panel. This is were your door would be if you had a straight thru machine instead of a corner machine. It has teflon guides just like your actual doors and they do leak at times or all the time if the guides are
not sealing. IF food particles accumilate at the bottom of that panel it blocks the water from running back into machine and instead, onto your floor from the bottom of tank areas. This is anther common leak.
The teflon guides should be replaced if they have cracks in them or are brittle and flaking apart. Sometimes they slide down and can be push back up from inside the machine. In either case, you will need to clean all the crud from that back panel edge. Usually thats all I do to fix that leak is just clean it up and push those guides out to outside edge with the tip of my screwdriver to tighten the seal between them and the channel.
Hope that helps!
Machine will not hold water. Drains slowley after
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa.
Dishwasher not draining properly or not draining at all issues can arise due
to different reasons. Usually, these issues are related to kinked hoses,
knocked out disposer unit (if connected with the dishwasher drain hose) &
clogged drain pump & filter.
Also note that dishwashers do not
drain completely after a finished cycle and this is normal. Dishwashers are
designed to leave some water in the unit to ensure that the heating element
doesn’t overheat. If you suddenly begin to experience a large amount of water
being retained in your dishwasher, you have a problem. Some of the most common
reasons include that the drain hose isn’t working properly, the drain pump
isn’t working correctly, or possibly there is a plumbing problem in your home’s
drain lines.
First check whether the drain is
not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. Check all the hoses for
blockages & also clean the air gap. Has the disposer been replaced
recently? If so, chances are the knockout is still in place. Simply remove the
drain hose from the disposer, and knock out the plug. If the disposer has not
been replaced, try removing the drain hose from the disposer and use a wet-dry
vacuum (prepared for water, of course) to **** any water (and hopefully anything
else) from the drain line. Then reconnect the hose, and test the unit. If you
have checked the air gap and the drain hose and can’t locate the problem, then
it is an issue with the drain pump of the dishwasher.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or
else revert for further assistance.
Thanks

Hobart AM15-1 Low Temperature Dishwasher. Techs question. I just replaced main board and relay board but now getting a E1 error code, curious if anyone knows what it is?
Question edited for clarity.
Error codes should be on the rear label according to the Technical Manual
https://www.partstown.ca/modelManual/HOB-AM15T_spm.pdf
There is no E1 error code for that machine and is is suggested that the display may be faulty.
https://www.google.com/search?q=hobart+am15+e1+error+code
The only reference to E1 is here, for the AM-16 and an electrical 'type'.
https://www.hobart.ca/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/warewash/AM16-BAS-Base-Electric-CF48568.pdf
For LXi machines
Drain and fill error messages are displayed as E0, E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6 or E7. In all cases, the dishwasher will terminate current cycle operations, turn off all heat sources and display the message until the OFF button is pressed. (A power drain will not occur when turned off.) (See Troubleshooting.) If problem persists, contact your local Hobart Service Office

Hobart AM-14 dishwasher is constantly filling with water.
Question edited for clarity and written English.
It is a professional machine, you have it serviced professionally by your local Hobart Service Centre and claim the repair against your expenses. The machines are way beyond the capabilities of someone that can just buy parts online.
It is either incorrectly wired or the control board or relays are are failing / failed.

Hobart AM14, the float assembly keeps failing. We are on our 4th one. Ruled out heat, electrical and we also replaced the main board. Anyone experienced this before?
It sounds like you're experiencing recurring issues with the float assembly on your Hobart AM14 dishwasher. You've already ruled out potential causes such as heat and electrical issues, and have even replaced the main board to try to resolve the problem. However, you're still encountering failures with the float assembly, which is unusual given that the dishwasher has been in use for 18 years without any prior issues with the float.
Without additional information or an on-site inspection, it's difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of the float assembly failures. However, some potential causes could include:
- Damage or wear to the float assembly parts: Over time, the float assembly parts may become worn or damaged, which can affect their performance and lead to failures.
- Water quality issues: Poor water quality, including high mineral content or excessive amounts of chemicals, can damage the float assembly or cause it to malfunction.
- Improper installation: If the float assembly is not installed correctly, it may not function properly and could fail prematurely.
- Inconsistent usage: If the dishwasher is not used consistently or is used excessively, this could put strain on the float assembly and cause it to fail more frequently.
It's important to work with a qualified technician who has experience with Hobart AM14 dishwashers to diagnose and resolve the issue. They can inspect the dishwasher, including the float assembly and other components, and identify any potential causes of the failures. From there, they can recommend the appropriate course of action to resolve the problem and prevent future failures.

Hobart AM15-1 dishwasher. Good morning, why does 'DP' appear on the display and immediately after that it starts washing and does not show the temperature on the display?
Question edited for a lot more clarity. All question need FULL 'make model (what it is)'.
Question moved from laundry Washing Machines to Hobart Dishwasher category.
'DP' or 'PD'?
PD is not an error code. It shows that when it draining water out shortly after power-up and when shutting down. If it seems to be showing "PD" longer than usual, it means the dishwasher's control circuitry believes there is still water in the tank, due to a faulty water level probe, most like the one under the lift-out screen. It has a plastic body with a metal probe coming out the center.
There is also a dual probe at the rear of the machine, but I believe the dishwasher uses the front probe to determine when to stop draining the machine during "PD" - most likely meaning "Power Drain" or "Power Draining".
If you are not seeing any E- codes (E1, E2, E3, etc.) then these water level probes are likely just fine and the "PD" is appearing normally, as it should during draining conditions.
Manual just for fun.

I have a Hobart LXiH sanitizer/dishwasher and it doesn't fill with water, gives error code E3. Any input greatly appreciated.
Error code E3 on a Hobart LXiH sanitizer/dishwasher typically indicates a problem with the water fill system. Here are a few things you can check to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
- Water supply: Make sure that the water supply to the dishwasher is turned on and that there is adequate water pressure. Check for any kinks or blockages in the water supply line.
- Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the dishwasher. Check to see if the valve is open and that there is no debris blocking the inlet. If the valve is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
- Water level sensor: The water level sensor is responsible for detecting the water level in the dishwasher. If the sensor is not working properly, it can cause the dishwasher to display an E3 error code. Check the sensor for any signs of damage or debris.
- Water pump: The water pump is responsible for pumping water into the dishwasher. If the pump is not working properly, it can cause the dishwasher to display an E3 error code. Check the pump for any signs of damage or debris.
- Control board: The control board manages all the electrical functions of the dishwasher. If the control board is faulty, it can cause the dishwasher to display an E3 error code. In this case, the control board will need to be replaced.

Hobart am15 AH code on start up
If your Hobart AM15 dishwasher is displaying an AH error code on start up, it usually indicates that there is an issue with the booster heater. AH stands for "Booster Heater Circuit".
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
- Check the booster heater temperature sensor. It may be dirty or faulty, preventing the booster heater from functioning properly. Clean or replace the temperature sensor if necessary.
- Check the booster heater element for continuity. If the element is broken, it will need to be replaced.
- Inspect the wiring and connections between the booster heater and the control board. Loose or damaged connections can prevent the booster heater from functioning properly.
- Check the booster heater relay on the control board. If the relay is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the problem.

Hobart dishwaher building up water after washes
- Clogged drain line: The drain line may be clogged with food debris or other debris, causing the water to back up in the machine.
- Blocked sump: The sump, which is where the water drains into, may be blocked with food debris or other debris, causing the water to back up in the machine.
- Faulty fill valve: The fill valve may be faulty, causing the water to fill beyond the normal level.
- Leaking pump or hoses: The pump or hoses may be leaking, causing water to collect under the machine.
- Broken float switch: The float switch, which is responsible for controlling the water level, may be broken, causing the water level to rise uncontrollably.
It is recommended to have a certified Hobart technician or a professional commercial dishwasher repair service diagnose and repair the issue
