Velodyne CT-100 when switched on connected to nothing else makes a very loud humming sound & the speaker is pushed outwards

Replace all the greatest sized capacitors inside are deformed or leaking. can be a 6 pieces because some of them are used parrallell to get double capacity.

Velodyne ct100 loud humming +speaker drown backwards.Can I fix at home

Hooked up speaker wires backwards what could make it not work or what could go out?

It could hurt the speakers and the amp, depends on level of internal protection they were made with.

If your subwoofer has a line level input (RCA-style plug), see page 24 of this link: http://www.audioproducts.com.au/downloadcenter/products/Denon/AVRX2000BK/Manuals/AVRX2000E2_ENG_CD-ROM_IM_v00.pdfRun a cable from that to the line level input on the subwoofer. The fuse in my Velodyne model SPL10BV MIGHT be blown. It calls for fuse 200MA. Home Depot has 500MA (that goes down to 250). Will this work ???

no it will draw too many MA through the circuit than is allowed
