Jura impressa x7 does not rinse and coffee does not come out. I do get steam for froth etc

Jura x7 coffee machines are older models in the coffee machine range. It may simply require a full system clean, using jura cleaning tablets, or more likely a service. Bean to cup machines should really be serviced every year to 18 months depending on usage. We can put you in touch with a Jura engineer if you need one, contact me here Denby Dale Coffee

SAYS COFFE READY PUSH LARGE

Hello.

1 Perform the initial setup on the coffee maker. Make sure the coffee maker is not plugged in. Slide the empty funnel into the funnel guides, fill the decanter with cold water, open the lid and pour water from the decanter into the brewer, put the decanter back on the base, then close the lid and wait three minutes for the internal tank to partially fill. Open the lid, fill the decanter with cold water again, and once more pour the water directly into the brewer. Put the decanter back on the base and wait for water to flow out of the funnel and into the decanter. Once it has stopped flowing, pour out any water that is in the decanted and plug in the coffee maker. Press the on switch to turn the coffee maker on and heat up the water in the tank.

2 Ensure the lid is completely closed. If the lid is open, the Bunn coffee maker will not brew coffee.

3 Check the see how much water is in the water tank. The Bunn coffee maker will not begin brewing coffee if less than 20 ounces (4 cups) of water is present in the water reservoir tank.
4 Delime the coffee maker. Unplug the coffee brewer and allow it to cool down. Remove the sprayhead by turning it by hand and set it aside. Insert the flexible deliming tool into the sprayhead tube until all but two inches are showing. You may need to twist and force the tool to go in. Slide the tool in and out several times to loosen lime buildup.
Check the sprayhead for lime buildup. If there are flakes of minerals, they can be removed with a toothpick. Scrub the sprayhead with soap and water. Rinse the sprayhead with water and replace it in the coffee maker. Pour water into the water tank and turn the coffee maker on, allowing water to run through without making any coffee. This will flush any lime fragments through the system. Empty the decanter

Thanks.

Trips the circuit breaker when

Hi,

According to your problem, decaling is necessary for after every 300 cup coffee. Check the water knob and water passing pipe if there is any blockage. Open the machine by unscrew it and check the circuit or you can take assistance from nearest engineer because it is not too easy job for a nontechnical person. You can also try by help of manual. To get the manual you can visit wbsite or nearest dealer of the product.

When I try to brew

You a have a blockage in the spouts. This is caused by a number of things:
  • You used the wrong grind coarseness in the pre-grind
  • you used the wrong cleaning table for the machine (this is the most common)
  • you have an insect in the spout
  • The plumbing system has a fault, where the switch that re-routes the water is stuck
Try the following:
  • Take a paper clip and bend it open
  • Then that the point of the bent open peice, and insert in each one of the spouts and check if there is a blockage
  • if you feel something or something comes out, see if the rinse works, try a few times
If that does not solve the problem then you may need to get a service tech to look at it

Jura Capresso Impressa S9- no steam

I had a similar problem. I took off the side and rear cover, followed the hose that comes from the steam wand to the rear of hte unit. It enters a solenoid made by ACL Italy. I dismantled the solenoid unit by disconnecting the two hose ends, removing the relay, and unscrewing the plunger unit (vertical pipe). The plunger unit internals should move freely up and down like a piston in a cylinder , powered by a small spring. In my unit, this plunger was calcified and seized. I soaked it in boiling water and pressed on it gently several times and it unstuck. I put it all back together again and presto! Good luck

Jura Capresso Impressa S9 -water won't pull into the unit

We have the same problem after installing a new filter (after 5years of perfect usage & no problem or maintenan)ce. An engineer told us to take the filter out completely & try to draw off water...if it does, do a de-scale IMMEDIATELY (using only recommended product) because the machine may be calcified. If that doesn't work, it may be the sprung sensor under the water carriage which may be blocked(with limescale) or broken...OR the little mesh sensor in the main body of the machine (which is located under the water filter). I am trying this tonight, otherwise its an engineer callout for collection & repair!

Jura S90 water leak

This is a POSSIBLE solution: First, where is the leak? are you getting water into the used grounds storage tank? If so you have a bad gasket around the grounds damper. Pressurized water flows through that and into the system to make coffee when all is well. When the gasket, which is nothing more than a large "O" ring breaks the water spews out and gets into the used grounds and waste tray. This is an easy fix except for one thing: it's very difficult to get to the part! The "O" ring can be found at just about any good auto parts store but you must have the old one off to get the proper size and guage. It's a rather thick ring. On my capresso I was able to get the old ring off by feeling around and using a small hooked pick. Use a mirror and flashlight to see it and MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG the unit FIRST. The damper I'm talking about is just behind the flap you'll feel in the cavity where the used grounds/waste tray fits. It's the round object with lots of tiny holes in it an a screw in the middle. The "O" ring goes around the outside of that damper nearest the top of the machine. It's tricky to get to but can be done. The only other solution is to send the machine back to Capresso and have them do it as they have the proper tools to totally dismantle the machine to more easily do the repair.

Jura S90 hasn't been used for many years. Close Tap Message

When I got my S90 I didn't have a manual or any paperwork on it. I had the same problem and found that the Selector knob for coffee or hot water (in the upper right area) was on hot water. Once I turned it back to the coffee selection I could use the rest of the functions. I hope this helps.

I have a jura capresso S7. I am finding water in

This is normal, after each cycle the brew unit will empty the drainvalve for excess water, this will ensure that the water used for each new cup is fresh from the watertank.

Jura Impressa xs 90 error code 5

The Error 5 indicates that the machine has been too cold. This can be from transportation or if the machine has been exposed for cold temperature for some time. If that is so, keep the machine in a warm place a few hours and then try again.

If this doesn`t help, it can be that the thermofuse or the sensor on the thermoblock is broken, Then this has to be changed by a technician.

Jura S9 Capresso Machine "Fill System" Message

I think you use too fine grist on the grinder, or the coffeebeans are really dark and moisty. Try to set the grinder to a coarser grist, for dark roasted coffee it`s not recomended to to use any finer than medium grist. However, the sieve in the brewing unit could be clogged, and you need to clean this out. Put a finger up in the brew unit just along the grounds blade, you will probably find a lot of old fine coffeeground up the. Clean it up as best as possible, and then try to make coffee with coarser grist. If this helps, it`s smart to run a cleaning program to be on the safe side.

If nothing of this helps, you don`t have a choice, you have to send it for service, then the brew unit has to be dissasembled and cleaned from the inside.
