My Jura Capresso coffee maker is

The sieve in the brew unit is probably clogged, this means that it takes to long to push the water through the coffee. There is an automatic time-out on the pump that controls this. It also can be that your coffeeoutlet is clogged.

Try cleaning out any used coffeegrounds from the inside of the machine, use your finger up into the brew unit. If this doesn`t help, it needs service.

Tray will not insert properly, a flap seems to be lowered

Start up the machine, take insert everything but the used grounds container. The machine will reposition the brew unit. When the machine says "heating", take out the tray and now you can insert everthing with the used grounds container. You can of course run a Rinse cycle if the machine doesn`t start positioning right away.

Fill water portion... same freaking thing! F9 Impressa

Where is the water supplycoming from? When you press and see it saying "filling" it should be fillingon its own. Giving it enough time to fill it senses the reservoir is still empty and asks you again to fill it up. it's saying it can't do anything until the reservoir has water in it.. Make sure the water supply line is not kinked or restricted. When you press start, a valve is opened long enough to provide the water needed to start the brewing proces. Right? Let me know what you find.

We took the tray out

Hi there

If you look at the back of the tray section, you should see flap which has been lowered. Try to move it upward gently and then try to get the tray back in.

Thanks

Machine is leaking water

This could be anything from the tank base to the outgoing hose from the thermoblock. I recommend to visit a local servicecenter. If you`re handy; open the machine and locate the leakage; maybe it`s just an o-ring that needs replacement.

Cannot reduce water volume setting in program mode

I`m sorry, but there is no Reset function on this model. But you can try anyway; Turn off your machine to standby. Push and hold the P-key. If it works you get OK in the display.
If it don`t, you either just live with the problem (you can always stop any process by pressing a key) or you have to go to your nearest servicecenter and get the touchdisplay changed. This however, is rather expensive.

The cleaning cycle is not complete (Jura F9)

This indicates that the Flowmeter is either dirty or defective, it sends incorrect messages back to the electroninc board about the waterflow. It`s located on the left side (seen from behind) as a white sircular box with 2 hoses and an electrical contact on top of the lid.

Where can I find an Jura Capresso Impressa F9 replacement lid

The only sources I have been able to find are in Europe. They do not always wish to ship to the US however. In the US the dealers always want the repair, but seldome wish to sell parts outright. Try this website for parts.

My F9 displays Malfunction 8

Malfunction 8 is related to the brew unit typically. It is usually an indication of the brew unit motor having to work too hard to move the brew unit up and down. This is usually cured by disassembling, cleaning, replacing any o'rings that may be bad, and lubricating the unit, then reassembly.
I have had to do this twice on an an E75 and an E8. I finally broke down and bought seal kits and food grade lubricant for doing this. (I have only been able to buy parts from Europe online) One could by a new brew unit off of e-bay and change out the whole thing. But a simple cleaning or rebuild will typically suffice. One note. The cleaning tablets tend to strip the lubricant from the inside of the brew unit over time. Ocassionaly the seals in the brew unit will fall apart and bind up the unit. Either of these is usually accompanied by a sound of the brew unit motor straining to cycle the machine. If you are not savy in repairing it you may want to send it in. I suspect they will tell you it needs a new brew unit aand quote about $300 USD for the repair. About two hours, much patience, and about $10 in parts is most likely all it may need.

Coffee production has slowed considerably

Hi

The reason for the coffee not flowing is because the beans in bean container are not feeding properly into the grinder because they are stuck together. Stir beans before grinding and while grinding turn the grinding selector to the coarsest setting.
When using very oily beans pour the beans onto a plate and let some of the sticky oils evaporate (this will not harm the aroma of the coffee).
Other reasons can be---

Reason: You used ground coffee in the ground coffee funnel. The ground coffee was too fine. Solution: Use ground coffee which is ground somewhat coarser.

Reason: No water is transported through the system. Solution: Remove water container and make sure that the con- necting valve is free of any particles (like a coffee bean etc).

Reason: The ground coffee funnel is clogged; the internal brew- ing chamber is clogged. Solution: Place a large cup underneath the coffee spout. Push the rinse button a few times until the blocked coffee is removed. (Never fill more than 2 scoops of coffee in the ground coffee funnel; the funnel is not a storage area for ground coffee). Also, use a ground coffee which is ground somewhat coarser
Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
Thanks Rylee

Jura Impressa S9 Coffee Maker displays "REPLACE NOW". Can't find it in the manual, replaced the filter anyway but message won't go away. Now what??

Ah the Subaru Impressa with S9 engine. :>D Not quite "says it all" Bryan. So..... Question edited to add the maker and 'what it is', a Coffee Maker. Question moved from Cars and Trucks to Jura Impressa category. When you add a maker, you are offered the correct category, 'Impressa' gives you generic Cars and Trucks. You have a 'Replace Now' message that no one else has! https://www.google.com/search?q=Jura+Impressa+S9+%22replace+now%22 However, try this. Remove the Grounds Bin. Disconnect from the power. Replace the bin, reconnect power. This is your manual https://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/assets/user-manuals/jura/jura-impressa-c9-user-manual.pdf Press CTRL+F, and type 'replace' and press enter. There are 16 mentions. I think it refers to the grounds bin being not fully placed. I have come across this many times, there is a small infra-red sensor or a proximity sensor.

Why is there a lot of water in the drip tray after each use?

Two to three teaspoonful water overflow after each espresso is normal. That is why the tray is there. If water collection in the tray is excessive and programmed espresso is smaller, then there is cause for worry.
