Remove tray and replace leaving out the used grounds box. Restarting the machine resets the brew unit and the tray with coffee grounds box can now enter fully

Jura capresso f9

I had the same problem, it told me to fill the water portion but when I pushed the button it would not clear. I called customer service and spoke with a technician. He told me to turn off and unplug the machine, remove the grounds drawer and reach inside the machine behind the plastic chute that hangs down in the middle. There is a metal disk mounted on an angle with a raised dimple in the center. The disk is the size of the discarded grounds wafers. The dimple in the middle is a sensor. Some times the accumulation of oils, coffee grounds and water leaves a residue on the disk that can short out the sensor. After locating the sensor and memorizing its position reach in with a paper towel and wipe off the residue. It works best to use a dampened towel and the a dry one. You will remove a substantial film of residue from the disk. I have done this numerous times and it has never failed to work. p.s The technician also advised me that the problem is more likely if you have your grind set too fine.

My F9 produces just a

This sounds like the filter is being re-used, or has not worked. The problem is that the flow sensor is not pic up flow, this means that either it is faulty (very rare, you need to return it to a service area, or fix your self) or there is a blockage in the piping.

Try removing the filter, setting the machine to not require a filter, and see what happens.

My Jura Capresso Impressa S9

Hi,

This error is due to the coffee sludge built up in the system and needs you open the machine and clean it.

Note - Capresso recommends that you unplug the unit, wait a minute, and then plug in and turn on. Try twice if the first time doesn't work. If you still have a problem, call Capresso, and if your machine is under warranty they will repair it for you free of charge and even pay shipping both ways.

For cleaning instructions, let me provide you with a generic link that would help you :

Jura F9-inside part fell off while pulling the tray. Cannot fix.

Kris I have this same problem. Did you figure out how to replace the flap or did you have to take it in for repair.
Does anyone else know how to replace this plastic flap?

We were given a used Jura Capresso F9 and it works ok. But the

so long as it does not leak once turned on the shape should have no impact on steaming. It may be a little harder to achieve microbubbles but so long as you are only concerned about hot milk and some foam it should be fine.

It grinds the beans, but just a trace amount of

My F9 started with the "Fill Beans" routine even though there were plenty. The grinder started making a high-pitched noise, which Capresso's customer service told me was indicative of something being stuck in the grinder (like the stones mentioned in the manual).

Their suggestions ranged from vacuuming out the grinder to blowing compressed air into it, to "burping" the machine -- which they describe as hitting it mildly while grinding. Kind of a Heimlich maneuver on the thing.

Still no success, but I did turn the unit upside down a few times and shook out a *lot* of coffee grounds. This led me to believe that the grinder was still working, but something was blocking it down low. So I ran the cleaning cycle twice, and voila, coffee again.

An interesting aside was that the first dump from the first cleaning delivered the usual grounds but also some more pasty-like remains, and pretty dirty water. The dump water from the second cycle was very clear. This is a testimonial to the efficacy of the cleaning process. If you don't do this when the machine requests it, you are running the risk of gumming it up. I know (now); I had been ignoring the request to clean it for about a week and a half...

I would like to clean the inside of my Jura

Hi

This machine is not designed to be cleaned in this manner. You will end up doing harm to the case if you attempt to force it open.

There is an automatic clean cycle on the machine which you can run using a special cleaning tablet. You can order this tablet from www.capresso.com or by calling 1-800-220-5701.

To run the cycle see the diagram below

11f5f0e.jpg

"S" indicates the tablet cleaning button.

This cleaning program takes about 15 minutes. Once the cleaning program has started do not interrupt the procedure.
• Make sure the machine is on.
• Open the cover and push and hold the TABLET CLEANING button "MARKED S On Diagram" until you hear a beep. (EMPTY TRAY/ FILL WATER might also show).
• Make sure that the water container is at least half full.
• Remove and empty the tray and the used bean container
and replace.

Attention: Even if the tray and the bean container are already empty, you still need to remove the tray for approx. 20 seconds and then replace it.
• Place a large container (24 oz.) underneath the
coffee spout.

ADD TABLET/ PRESS CLEANING
• Open the ground coffee funnel lid and drop one white tablet into the opening.
• Push the TABLET CLEANING button "S" again.
• The machine will start the automatic cleaning program by dispensing water in intervals into the container underneath the coffee spout.
• When finished, the display shows EMPTY TRAY and the machine "beeps".
• Remove the tray. There will be water in the tray and in the used coffee container. Empty, clean and replace.

RINSE UNIT
• Place a cup underneath the coffee spout and push the RINSE button (See F on diagram below).

Cleaning cycle is now complete.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

Fill system....water portion (error message)

It means that you need to fill up the system, inside the machine. Push the Water portion button, then it should flow water from the watertube. If you`re having trouble with this, change the water in the tank with luke warm water, this usually solves the problem after a few attempts.

If nothing happens and no water comes out, the solenoid valve is defective and must be changed.
