I want to attach my profile photo to an e mail
go to photos and find the photo you wish to send. Press select on the top right hand corner. Select the photo (a tick mark will appear on it. Press the box with an arrow pointing upward then select mail to send it in the usual manner.
I want my Google chrome task bar back
I don"t have Chrome in my iPad Mini, but on Chrome PC there is a symbol (3 black horizontal lines) in the upper right corner of the screen. That symbol is for "Settings" so click on the icon and select settings. You should find what you need there.

On my iPad mini it's like this:
On home page, Click on "Settings" then click on "Passcode.
You should be able to change it there.

I used to get audible notifications re texts but now I don't
firstly check if your volume is not all the way by going to the home screen and increasing the volume.
second go to the setting then notifications and check the app in question it might have auto turned off with an update or something.
PS: I haven't used an apple device in a long time but im pretty sure its in the setting the under 'notifications' if not there then maybe under the 'sounds' tab
IPad does not turn on?
Double click the Home button to see if it's running.
Try charging the battery for at least 8 hrs.
If nothing happens you may have to start over.

Why are there red exclamation marks on unsent items in my outbox? And how do I get them sent?
A red exclamation point means there was a problem with sending your email. You can click on the mark to see further information about the problem. Most likely, you will have to check you email settings and correct the problem. You can, alternately, delete that account and create a totally new version of that account. The most likely error is entering the password incorrectly. Depending on who your email provider is, you may, instead, have incorrect outgoing email information. How to start an app that not loading at all
You should make sure that your iPad is running the latest firmware version. Also, make sure that your apps, especially the one you are having trouble with, is fully updated. These updates cover problems the software is having.
1. To check if your iPad firmware is up to date:
Go to "settings", then to "general" then to "software update".
2. To check on you apps update status, go to the "app store" icon,
then on the bottom, all the way to the right, there's an "updates" icon. The apps that have available updates are listed here. Make sure to update each out of date app.

FaceTime on ipad
Time zone fixed this for me. I was having issues logging into Twitter account on iPad mini and directed me to set my time zone. Once I set the Time Zone to Set Automatically Twitter, iMessage and FaceTime worked.
Did the following:
- Go to Privacy
- Location Services
- System Services
- Turn on "Setting Time Zone"
- Go to General
- Select Date/Time
- Turn on Time zone "set automatically"
