At the peak power usage time..compressor start up it may reack 11 amps..when calulating that it is a max of 1300 watts..so a generator of 1500 or more should work fine
When running after start up is usually about 500 watts

Over your compressor, there is a catch well, you will see a hole in the exect middle above it in the cabinet of the unit, may be front or back of the catch unit, use a mirror to locate and go from there....Russ

About the only thing you can do is get an UPS system to have steady power. It was a bad design on the mother board, that so far the manufacturer has chosen to correct.

If your condenser grill is extremely dirty or air flow is not adequeate there will be heat transferance to the cabinet itself.

Highly recommend that you clean your condenser grill (the grill underneath the cabinet) and vacuum as much as you can then blow it out with an air compressor.

sounds like defrost timer is stuck check to see if there is a screw on it that you can manually turn with a screwdriver 1 or 2 clicks. maybe a lot of dust on the cooling fins also that can be vacuum. hope this helps

I think you're problem is the control board.However if the sensor is accessible I would make sure that it is clean and that all connectionts to control board are clean and secure. I also would unplug your freezer for a few mins. then plug back in.Turn thermostat all the way up then all the way down. Leave it on lowest setting fof 1/2 hour then turn back to normal setting.
I would monitor the temperature every few hours and if it maintains I would leave it alone. If you call for service most lkely they are going to sell you a new board wheather you need it or not. Good luck and thanks.

Ice cream has to be colder than 0 degrees C /32 degrees F. You need a cheap thermometer If your Ice maker Ice is not sweating in the bin, -10 degrees F ice stops sweating. you need not to sweat the freezer untill your cheap freezer thermometer can be compared to -10 degrees F

there is an element in there for self-defrosting, if you have a self-defrosting model. It heats up like an oven element ( not nearly as hot) to get rid of frost build up.

Your defrost elements are not working or the inlet to the evaporator tray is clogged, if you haven't gotten iny icy water build-up in the bottom of the fridge you will soon. This may require a service call.
