Bowflex Xtreme SE Questions & Answers
I just threaded my bowflex
I had the same problem with my Xtreme and here's what worked for me, and I'm assuming the Xtreme2 is put together pretty much the same way. Remove the rod box from the lower lat tower frame by removing the 3 screws that hold it in. Much easier if you can tip the Bowflex on it's side, or at least have someone hold it at an angle while you're removing the screws. Once you have the rod box off, you'll see that there is a screw holding each rod into the box. Remove that screw and pull the rod out about an inch or so. Rotate the rod 180 degrees and reinsert it. There's a slot in the end of the rod that engages a key, so make sure it's engaged, you shouldn't be able to rotate the rod if it is. Then reinstall the screw. Repeat for whatever other rods are hitting the cross bar and then reinstall the rod box. Worked like a champ for me. Make sure you unhook the rods from the cables when you're done with your workout, that'll really shorten the life of them if you leave them bent all the time.
I keep getting error code 0AB
Error code 0AB on a Fisher & Paykel refrigerator may indicate a problem with the evaporator temperature sensor. The evaporator temperature sensor is responsible for monitoring the temperature inside the freezer compartment. If the sensor is not functioning properly, it may send incorrect temperature readings to the control board, causing the error code to appear.
Some possible causes of this error code include:
- The evaporator temperature sensor is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.
- The wiring connections between the sensor and the control board are loose or damaged.
- The control board itself is malfunctioning.
If you are seeing this error code, I would recommend checking the wiring connections and the sensor and if they are ok then the control board may need to be replaced.
It is best to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer for help troubleshooting and repairing the issue, as working on refrigeration equipment can be dangerous if you are not properly trained and equipped.
My question was about the bowflex ct5000 step climber piston shocks leaking why?
The hydraulic shocks found on exercise machines aren't very different to the shocks found on cars, bikes and trucks or even inside some washing machines - the ones on display on bikes and exercise machines are better finished and nicer to look at.
Your question is asked everyday by thousands of vehicle owners who also want to know why shocks leak.
I have a theory, but it is just a theory - If a telescopic shock absorber is going to leak they mostly start leaking while relatively young. I think very few leak because the seal is worn out - a very few do and that happens after a long service life.
I think in some cases it could be the quality of the seal or the way it is fitted but my theory is about the ambient temperature, the temperature of the components and the temperature of the oil that fills the shock.
It is possible during manufacture a certain volume (rather than a weight) of oil is placed in each shock and at certain times, such as first thing after the weekend, in the winter perhaps, the oil will be cold so when the finished item meets hot weather the fluid expands and the level could rise enough to overwhelm the seal...
