go to www.bowflex.com and look for manuals and see if it is available and download it. Or call bowflex and they will assist you.

The treadclimber is a nonsense scam and they are the cheapest made product on the market. You are better off throwing that thing in the trash than paying to have it fixed.

Sounds like it's the controller. Those are very hard to find parts. Most repairs on Bowflex are nearly impossible after the machine is about 4 years old.

I think the problem on that is only the pedal sensor.
The sensor will count your every steps. And it will also read the distance of your workout.
If the sensor is damage you can't get any readings of your steps. If that the case you need to replace new sensor.

the motor is located underneath on the rear. the easiest way is to put unit on its side

I would be contacting bow flex customer service. That product hasn't been out that long

Steps you should to to find the exact problem. first, lubricate the treadmill. Use it. and when the problem come up. Turn off the treadmill, open the motor hood, Touch the drive motor, if the drive motor is supper hot. The drive motor is shorted. The burning smell is came from it. you need to replace or rewind drive motor.

Try to run the treadmill @ 10kph. W/o using it. If the problem comes up. The problem is only the speed sensor.. and if the treadmill is in normal condition with out someone using it. @ 10kph. The problem is only lack of lubrication. You need to lubricate the treadmill before you using it. To prevent the motor from breakdown.

because your belt has dirt on both end part of the underneath of running belt. to remove that noise you need to clean it by using a clean wet towel. scrub it until all the dirt would remove. dry it and its done. you can now use your treadmill
