WHen I hook my laptop
no laptop stated ok W7 OS, nice to know.
hopeless?
nor external model screen stated
try a different external screen
any shop can fix it, ask them
no need to ship anything
get it checked out by a technician
we can test all 3 parts and tell you whats worn i minutes.
i can not understand your post
try to be more clear
does local LT screen work ok
does using a known directly connected screen (VGA)
on the LT you must turn on external screen using the fn hot key
the the external works,. do so, now
if both internal and external fail the LT is bad, guess, bad GPU chip
if only external fails, try a known working external screen
if that works your external is bad.
the docking is last, and if only it fails, then ITS BAD.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6910us laptop. My cd/dvd
If you don't see it in the device driver, then it doesn't exist.
Go to the HP website and search for 'download drivers'... There will be a place where you can type in the driver you're looking for. Download and install. That should fix your problem.
This problem has nothing to do with itunes or filters.

While my computer is bootup
Hi,
Try starting up in safe mode and see what happens, before the windows logo comes up reapeatedly tap on F8 so you get advanced start up options on the screen, select safe mode, and wait until the computer starts up.
in safe mode does the problem persist? does it happen after a certain amount of time? if you just leave the computer for example to the Bios settings (f2 or f1 or DEL) button to enter bios setup right when the power is on, does the picture go black on its own eventually?
