You can only take backup of emails from out look also you can take backup of email folder settings and all contacts list . Then you can import it on outlook express any time. For that go to file menu ->import export on outlook then take backup it's in .pst extension. then you can burn it on disk. Then you can import on any computer's outlook express. This is an error in the setting of your SMTP server. What email provider are you using? (gmail, yahoo, roadrunner, aol,etc)

The fix is getting rid of Outlook Express. Outlook Express is outdated and should not be used anymore. Newer Microsoft operative system and newer Internet Explorer versions do not include Outlook Express. Unfortunately the only alternative offered by Microsoft is Outlook, that is part of MS Office, which is not free.

Try to save your Outlook Express doing a cumulative update. Follow instructions here: Description of the cumulative update for Outlook Express.


If that does not work, report the exact error codes (e.g. 0x800CCC00 ), they will reveal the issues that caused Outlook Express malfunctions.

Try to print it out to microsoft office document image writer, itis an add on microsfot office application, if u can't fint it u can try to repair the office installation and then add the add on app intended. or u can install do pdf (free download) then print the email into those kind document (TIFF or PDF) then print itu out.

did you manually go into you deleted file and delete them completely

there is a problem in your incoming mail server kindly contact your mail provider to know what is your incoming mail server

This is a matter of your operating system. For example in Windows XP the Microsoft Outlook Express is included in the op. system. With Windows 7 the Microsoft Outlook Express is not compatible and you have to use Windows Microsoft Essentials. So please clarify me your op. system to give you further details.

I suppose such problem would resolve due to other methods. But one of most effective is a special program, for example the next utility would be usable here - recover outlook express.

Is your operating system in french? If it is install a english language pack from microsoft this will change most of windows to english but not all. Or you could just reinstall windows and choose english

first go to control panel and got to mail select email accounts tab highlight on the email link where you can see below in the table and just above that you can see remove option select that and click yes and now select new you get a pop up window which says choose email service select Microsoft exchange and click next enter your name email id and password and select next and wait it to connect to the server once connected you can view your emails from your new email id

You need to know the POP3 (Incoming mail) & SMTP(outgoing mail) server names.Your service provider can tell you these.
When you are in Outlook
From the menu- go to
Tools
Email Accounts
Email
Add a new Mail account
Server Type POP3 Type in the server name
Server Type SMTP Type in the server name
Your Name, Email Address given by your service provider
Log In User Name and Password
Save all these info. Close and restart the Outlook.

outlook express has long been discontinues by microsoft. It would be a better option to look into the mail application Windows Live Essentials. Do you have mails in your present outlook express?

To fix the same messages coming from a POP account again and again:
