I want to fix my friend bike, it skipps when she

check that the back wheel is fitted correctly. is it wobbly becasue it is buckled, or because it is not tight onto the bike.

if the wheel is buckled then it should go to a store to be straitened depends on how bad it is .

if not put bike upside down and undo the back wheel nuts a little, push the back wheel back as far as it will go without over tightening the chain and making sure it is central to the frame tighten the bolts back up. watch to make sure it is not slipping.

then put it into a middle gear and turn the peddles if you hear rattling in the chain or it changes gear use a small screw driver to set the changer to the middle of the got and it should be quieter in gear.

also do this for the front changer and make sure it doens not go to far our as this will pull the chain off.

if not sure take it to a bike store and ask advise they will tell you whant can be done and how much it would cost.

I hope this was useful

Ineed to replace rear wheel bearings

Why do you say that? Did a professional bike technician tell you? You may be better off buying a new wheel unless you have the tools and the know how to rebuild your rear hub.

Is there any way to know how much length diff or

Always have the right size for the child to ride. It is very dangerous to give them a bike too big, you do not buy big shoes so do not try to save money that way. The seat height is gauged by the leg length, he should be able to get off easily, handlebars are according to personal preference and comfort. We sell 5000+ bicycles a year at our bike store and we size them to the person, do you know there are 24 different frame sizes in a 26" bike? Huffy makes one size in the ladies bike, it is a 19" frame, kind of a one size fits all, it does not work that way, not all size 10 clothes are the same length same with bikes. I say buy the child the right size and do not risk injury or death with the wrong size. Also, a helmet is a must, you don't recover from a brain injury. Remember, a broken arm mends, brains don't.

Iw ould like to raise the handle bars on my wifes

Most likely you have a threaded headset on your wifes bikes. Many times you will have to replace some of the cables and housing because they will be too short once the handlesbars are raised.

If you have a treadless headset than raising your handlebars is very simple. First check to see what type of headset you have. A threadless system with have a allen head on the very top of the stem and one or two more allen head bolts on the side of the stem. The threaded system will usually have only one bolt on the very top of the stem. It is sometimes covered by some type of cap. Also on threaded headsets, there will be a large nut under the stem, which is what most people mistakenly loosen to adjust the stem. Do not touch this nut, it will adjust the headset. Same goes for the allen head on the treadless headset, it will also adjust the headset so don't touch it.
So if you have a threaded stem, simply loosen the allen head or nut on the top of the stem and raise the stem up. Make sure you do not go above the max line and that you are still able to turn the handlebars freely.

Hope this helps!

I am needing a manuel on how to put a 10 speed

Rear wheel should be already on, put front wheel into forks and tighten nuts or quick release lever.
The handlebars should alredy be attchd to the neck. Put the neck into the frame and tighten bolt or allen head when bars are straight aligned to front wheel. Install seat and any reflectors....follow these instructions carefully cause the manual that comes w/these bikes is junk....Good Luck to you friend.....Tim

What year is my huffy bike serial number htc13b74808 and what's its current value?

Condition and quality determine value. A Huffy, even if older, has very little value.

Model and year of huffy bike serial # 4H114288

Not possible to ID by serial number, and even if it was it's not important. Huffy's are not valuable and parts are not specific to a particular brand, let alone year or model of bike. The model name is printed on the bike's frame. If not there bike has been cheaply repainted, possibly because it's stolen.

Needto lubricate rear wheel bearings on a huffy single speed bike

as most bikes do not have seals on the wheel axles , it is possible to lay the bike on the side , use machine oil on the hub and axle area and spin the wheel while allowing drops of oil onto the axle bearing hub area or you can take the hub apart and fill with a very light grease
