Huffy 12' bike front wheel doesn't fit

Mine had the same problem and there was no way bending the fork was going to work. It turns out they had installed an extral washer and nut on the axel. Take one off and retry fitting it. It may only go on one way. Make sure, before you tighten it, that the wheel turns freely.

I bought the huffy 16"

It's pretty hard to know how to help you exactly. But this may help--- if you have (or can borrow) a digital camera, take close-up pictures of your parts then take the camera with you to a Wal-mart or wherever this bike is sold. Compare your pictures to one on display. Or better yet, take the whole bike with you. Or just take close-up pictures of the bike on display. It might also be useful to know that the front fork (that is the two metal bars about 10 inches long that point toward the ground that the wheel attaches to) sometimes have to be spread apart just a bit to fit the wheel's axle in place. I'm talking about maybe 1/4 inch or so. If it's a lot more than that the fork may have gotten bent in shipment and you should take it back.
good luck, Merry Christmas. Al K

Front wheel assembly does not seem to fit. how do

Ok...I saw you post as I was having the same problem. This is what I did to fix it. You need channel locks or a crescent wrench and bend the "hooks" outward that the front wheel hooks into. Just bend the tips so that it can widen and the tire will fit. Then once you have the wheel on, you need to lock one side down and then loosen the other nut that is attached to the barring part of the wheel, the black nut. This will push out the hooks therefore widening the frame even more because if you don't do this the wheel will be too tight and will not turn. Hope this helps

Is there a video that

Might be ... are there no breaks on the bike now? What kind of brakes are you talking about? Coaster (move the petals in reverse to activate) or hand. There should be a bracket on the front and rear forks to mount hand brakes. From your picture, the bike already has at least a front hand brake. The brake simply attaches to the bracket with a nut and bolt.

If you will go to a Bike shop in your community, I am certain they can give you assistance in operating the bike as it is now or adding additional brakes as you may deem appropriate.

Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

I need a replacement front

You need to search on-line for the size of wheel, not by the model of the bike. Look at the tire, it will be labeled with the wheel size.

Can you get a seat

I can't find a good picture of the seat post online, but i assume its a regular type seat.

It's going to be very hard to find the same kind of seat, but bicycle shops will have small childrens seats, a white or pink one would look great.

I just took the parts out of a box 16" princess

The black plastic caps on the axle are just to protect the threads during shipping. You can throw them away. There may also be a plastic spacer on the front fork that keeps the fork from becoming bent together during shipping. This can be discarded too. good luck. Al K

I am assembling a Disney

YES!!!!!

You need to either return the bike and get another, or go through the warranty process. This time of year,if you bought the bike from a physical store (not-online) then I would go back and exchange.

Where can I find a replacement bearing?

I recently replaced a wheel bearing in my daughter's bike by just keeping my eye open for a junk bike. There are not all that many different sizes of bicycle wheel bearings to be had. The junk bike doesn't have to be a very similar bike or even be a child's bike. I got lucky on the first one I found. And it was free. Or you could take the bike to any bike store and they would probably have a bearing on-hand, but they will probably want $15 for it. good luck
