I have a sony Vaio
I wonder if your 'Front Light' seems any dimmer than what it was?
It can be your
aging power supply is not providing the full voltage your laptop needs?... Let's say your laptop
needs 19.5 Volts (and it DOES), but your supply can only
provide 16 or lower volts? You
may see results like you are getting now...
New supplies are not that expensive (about $14 inc US shipping) and rather spending a lot for diagnostics and waiting a week or so, a new
fresh supply MAY be all you need!
OK... I just found a NEW supply for $8.52 on eBay
for your system and he's a US Shipper too. It's worth a try!

Is not starting by window vista
Windows Vista is no longer the current operating system supported by Microsoft. Try to upgrade or get a full copy of Windows 7. Windows 7 works a lot better than Windows Vista did. If you have the discs for Windows Vista, then try ot reinstall, but, again, Windows 7 is the current operating system for Microsoft.

Describe your VGN-CS110E MODEL IS
You should send it to them, it absolutely sounds like the computer is overheating which would be the cause of a faulty fan. Make sure you back up all of your information prior to sending the computer out, as they won't hesitate to reset the computer back to its factory settings. Continuing to use the computer in its current state could cause more permanent damage to the computer, so back it up and send it out as soon as possible.

My laptop keeps making crackling sounds for a
Cracking sound means either your HDD is going to die or lost of dust on ur FAN.
if sound comes out from Fan side then you can blew dust out using air compressor cane for more over if you are handy on computer then just remove keyboard and blow away all dust (But this is not recommended if you are not well aware of taking parts apart).
If its from HDD (Hard disk Drive) then its time for replacement.
but my guess goes to Fan once its freezes up frequently so Fan needs to be cleaned.
Try from outside blowing up dust if problem still remains then fan needs to be taken out which only Tech can do if you are not familiar with it.
Please post back comments on it.
thank you,

I have a problem with cooling fan in my laptop
Hi
Thank you for your query
If you are not a qualified laptop engineer, i would not recommned that you try to replace the heat sink (fan) yourslef, you will literally need to take the whole laptop apart
Please book the laptop into a reputable PC shop or laptop engineer to replace for you
If this has been useful please leave postive feedback/vote/testimonial - Thank You Again
