dv4-1120us Notebook BATTERY 101 if it runs with no battery , then its ok. see? (does not prove internal charging chip is ok, see?) but PC is ok on A/C line so use it. in A/C power. learn too that letting any battery die flat , can kill it.! best is to not walk away from any LT , running on battery only. or risk damaging it. (the laptop tries hard to not do that but is not perfect science ,yet) read up on cell reversal.. never flat line it on purpose and win !!! next learn that batteries are short lived.. last a few years others months, that is what batteries do. even car batteries can fail fast. (ask and old guy that) all batteries are what I call "weak technology" "fails fast" or imported from china, and are junk,. many are. so.... I always have 2 batteries, that way , having 2 good batteries if one dies, its totally obvious, no? whats UP? i have 2 batteries, too, so when on vacation, I dont go dry, see? On some longer trips i carry 3, that is what laptops do best. run with no AC jacks about.

Keyboard problem. Bring it back where you bought it.

is the samsung 1.5tb an external hard drive? if it is then make sure all your usb ports are working by pluging your external drive to the various ports. if it still does not connect then try updating the drivers using a driver pack solution. if that does not solve it then take your laptop to sservice center to fix it.

Blow the keyboad with air blower. try to reinstall all drivers and if not. you have to attached external keyboad temporarily while fixing the issue.

you need download and install spanish language pack , then from control panel - regional and language setting.

You have to "retstart the computer."
Once you "hear to computer - Hard Drive {Hum}, and the "Fan" spinning!"

it sounds like the battery has become faulty to test this repeat the process without the battery in at all and if you get the same result you know its the battery.
To fix this you will have to buy another battery

your battery inside lap top went bad replace battery its the size of a watch battery.

press together the keys "fn" and "NumLlk"..

So, find the original sales-receipt, to prove that you are the owner, and telephone HP Support, and get assistance from them in changing the password.

Hello, that sounds a motherboard problem...
Try to do this first :
1- take the battery out and disconnect from power
2- press and hold the power button at least 10 seconds
then put only the power cable not the battery and try to boot...
If this dont help...your motherboard needs to be repaired or replaced.

Always use an authorised HP service centre for a job like that otherwise you may finish up with problems like incorrect mother board ownership/serial numbers. Only HP can reset and sort that out for you.
Avoid getting only half a job done!

Consult an authorised HP service centre to avoid after repair problems!
There are none on ebay at present.

Get a Coolant for your Laptop..

Sounds light a power switch short, but lets try to take the memory out of the laptop and power on the laptop. Does it boot up? if so lets try 1 memory stick at a time.

It may be caused by overheating. Overheating is the main problem with HP portables. Use a fan to cool down the computer and check how long it last working. If blowing air with a fan "Appears to fix the problem" stop using the computer and get maintenance service for it. The processor area needs to be cleaned.
