Its bloody rude,I own my phone,not the EX provider!
I put in another sim only to recieve "phone restricted" with the option to undo.The ex service provider promises to sms the unlock code to another phone if I pay them $80 for the privelidge!!AH-HELLO,Ive already paid for my phone.This is disgustingly greedy and dissapointing on the part of the provider towards its customers.
Im aware the unlock code has something to do with the imei number which is 356409028991258.
Please Does anybody out there know just how to remedy this annoying nuisance of a problem without having to pay a ransom to restore MY phone back to its usefull state?

If you forgot you can generate master code using your IMEI, which can be viewed by pressing *#06# and keying that in the link mentioned below,,

how to format the phone memory oh nokia 1680c-2? what are the key in formatting the phone memory of nokia 1680c-2
just remove your MMC n just type *#7370# n will ask u the security code.type it out (default code is 12345 )
NOTE: battery must b full, else if format is disrupted by low batt, consequences will b disastrous
I heard the code *#7780# works too, pretty much the same i think.
but back up everything before doing this onto ur computer or MMC..
OR:
Secend option:
insert *#7780# in the stand by mode it asks your phone lock code,then insert the your phone lock code. now your phone will restart,now your phone is formatted
