How to make the vacuum blow

Not sure about your machine but normally there would be a fitting on the "exhaust" side where the hose can be attached or if its an electronic control, it should be on the machine.??

Is there an ALTERNATE belt replacement solution for mod.#116.34728401 kenmore vacuum original belt 20-5275 only have local hardware store to shop from. Will an alternate brand/size work?

This is a touchy question. I think that if you measure the belt for length and thickness, there's a good possibility that you could fine another cheaper belt on the Internet or at Lowes, Mennards, Home Depot and ect...... Good Luck

Lately as I'm vacuuming, my vacuum will turn off. I can start it again, and it will shut off again. It seems like a power issue. Happens different places in the home, so it is not the outlet.

Some vacs shut off when the dirt bag is full Check your brush area and see if there is dirt or bits of string like things wrapped around the brush or the brush ends. This will cause the machine to shut down as well if there is pressure holding the brushes. Will it run if you wiggle the plug if so you could have a bad plug as well.

Model 116.31040902 will not run but for a short period of time then shuts off. will not restart for about 30 mins or more

It is probably time to replace it. There is a thermal protector that is tripping because of a problem with the motor.

Hi, kenmore model 116.25812508 how does the single front wheel assembly come off. It needs to be replaced with part KC95CBZTZV06.

I found this on the Sears website, I'm just copying it. There are 2 possible solutions here. It can be difficult disassembling parts on your own vacuum. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below if you are interested in viewing. I hope the link that I provided is helpful. Have a great day. by afritz afritz Earned 1,558 community points in Click">Upright Vacuums May 26th, 2011 I understand the issue you are having with removing the swivel wheel assembly. From your reply I see that you have the other style design which is quite similar but with out the locking tabs exposed. I don't always relate this way of removing the swivel wheel because people are afraid that they will damage the base of the vacuum. Use a large flat bladed screwdriver and get it up under the swivel plate and pry the wheel assembly off. The manufacturing engineers were of the opinion that this part would not break so I think when they designed the part they did not have in mind that someone may replace it. This makes it difficult to replace. When installing the new one you will need to press it into the hole so it will snap into place. Let me know how it goes. I can understand wanting to know how to replace the swivel caster on the vacuum base assembly. To replace the caster you will need to use a pair of needle nose pliers and pinch back the clips and then drive the caster from the base. I suggest that you support the base between two short pieces of wood so the caster can be pressed out the bottom without touching the support. As you can see by the new one it will snap into place in the hole of the base after you remove the old one. I hope these instructions will help.
