Roomba Pro Elite Bagless Robotic Vacuum Questions & Answers
Roomba Pro Elite
The electronics have failed most likely. Not uncommon. If it is within the warranty period call the company ( good luck with that ) and they will send you a new one. These machines are not designed to be repaired other than brush replacement and filters, dust containers, etc.
Goes circles 4210
I had this problem with mine, it was just going in a circle, some people suggested to clean the bump sensor with air, it may work for you, but it didn't for me, I found out that the problem was a servo motor at one of the wheels, bought a refurbished set of wheels, took the Roomba apart and replaced the part, working like a champ.
BRUSHES WON'T GO ROUND
Try to turn the brushes by hand, while the machine is off and on it's back. If the brushes will not turn, the brush motor is burned out. If you are mechanically inclined you should not have too much trouble replacing it.
Remove the bumper, then the case. You will see a motor with a long square shaft. That will be the motor to replace.
Personally, I recommend the RobotShop for buying a replacement motor.
My romba doesn't keep it's charge very long
This happens over time as the battery wears out. Time to replace the battery. Or, perhaps the battery is not receiving a full charge when it needs to (and damage has been done). Power supply might be culprit of not receiving full charge.
Changed wheel and roomba starts
Make sure all wires are connected properly, make sure all parts move freely with ease and nothing is binded up. Make sure any service doors are completely shut.
If problem still remains, then either there is a faulty control circuit, or a part is not installed correctly
Program not working
i had the same problem. there are 2 little metal discs that are sensors. have you tried cleaning then? you need to remove the brush and roller and they are right there. very sensitive. i used windex on a rag ,put it together and it has worked ever since
My roomba 980 has an error10 left. So I purchased new module wheel inserted it and it's still saying error 10 left. HELP !
If your Roomba 980 is still displaying an error 10 (left wheel error) after installing a new module wheel, it could be due to a problem with the new module wheel or with another part of the vacuum. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Make sure that the new module wheel is properly installed and seated in the vacuum.
- Check the connections between the module wheel and the vacuum's main board to make sure they are secure and not loose.
- Check the left wheel and the left wheel motor to make sure they are not damaged or malfunctioning.
- If the problem persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, you may need to take the vacuum to a repair center for further diagnosis and repair.
I hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.
What does err 1 mean on irobot roomba
Overview. Error one (1) means
your robot is on an obstacle or an uneven surface and a side wheel is stuck. If this is the case, lift your robot off the floor, place it in the center of the room, and restart the clean cycle. If this error occurred on a flat surface, check the wheels for obstructions.
