I just installed the valve and it seems to work
Hi,
If there isa packing nut on theat valve then tighten it up a bit...if the valve stem is a cartridge type then you will need to contact Price Pfister and have them send you a new cartridge...they will do that if you tell them it is a new faucet and it was bad from the get go...

Hot watwer leaks from the hot side of the facet
Replace the stem assembly (ceramic cartridge) with Price Pfister service part #910-030. Be sure to turn water on briefly to flush out any debris in the valve body before installing new part. NOTE: this valve does not like old galvanized plumbing.
If we put the wax
If you are installing a wax (doughnut) seal to connect the toilet to the main drain, then the wax ring should be big. It should 'squish' to seal correctly. You may not need it, but I've known plumbers to install two of the seals at once for extra gap-filling. Just install the seal, sit on the toilet to compress the seal into place and then install the bolts to the floor. Done!
How do I remove a Pfister Marielle metal lever handle?
Bear with me, please. Adjust the temp at the physical valve?
Interesting at the least. Never seen or heard of that. They come up with something new everyday. I'm going to follow this for my own benefit. Thank you. And good luck. - Ned
How to clean the screen filter in the kitchen faucet
I don't know your exact model but most faucets screen filter can be screwed off for cleaning or replacement. Remove the screen filter with a pair of pliers and a rag. Once you get it loose, you should be able to unscrew with your fingers. Put the rag around filter before putting the pliers on it to prevent gouges and deep scratches in the chrome. IF you have a dishwasher, you can clean the screen filter on top basket of dishwasher if you have one. IF the screen filter looks bad to you, just replace it. Go to any hardware store ,take the screen filter with you and get help finding the right one. Once you have a replacement, hand screw it back on as tight as you can. IF it still leaks , use the rag and pliers to tighten it just enough to stop the leak in the screw parts. Good luck.
How to reversing stem rotation for Pfister 910-030 cartridge
For Pfister 910-030 tub stem: Take off the 1/2 white clip at the end of the post, it's next to the 12 splines that hold the handle on. Its a little tight but can be done after the stem is installed. Flip it over and slip it back on aligning the notches properly first. A 2" long 13 mm socket slipped over the end and tapped lightly with a hammer helped me get it set.
Water coming from single shower handle
It may just be a screw loose or you may need to check the washer and o-ring inside. Dont take anything apart if your not comfortable in doing that. Get someone who does.

Can I remove the screen filter in the kitchen
Yes, the aerator (where the water comes out) can be unscrewed and removed from the faucet. I remove these and clean them out on a regular basis. If the aerator won't unscrew by hand, place a washcloth over the aerator (to prevent scratching) and carefully turn it with a pair of pliers. (Screw direction to loosen: Looking down on faucet, with pliers to the right-hand side, pull them toward you.) Make sure the rubber washer is properly placed in the top of the aerator after you have cleaned it out and you go to screw it back on. You normally don't need pliers to put it back on, as these are meant to be screwed on hand-tight. There might be several little parts inside the aerator to take apart and clean out, so be very careful to put these parts back together the same way they came apart. I find a toothpick is often useful to clean these out, as well as a cup of water to rinse them in.
SINGLE VALVE SHOWER FAUCET TURN
I can think of a few possibilities. 1) Something is blocking the hot water in to the mixing valve. Fixing this would probably mean cutting out the valve (then redoing the water lines with a new valve (possible option)).
2) The hot water line is losing too much heat going to this second faucet. (If the two tubs are on different floors this is more common. Many places are plumbed with one line with Ts to all fixtures.) Insulating the water lines might help; alternatively an point of use water heater would help.
3) The hot water and the cold water in are reversed. (Test by leaving the water on full cold and full hot for a few minutes each.) If you get full hot when it should be cold, valves with a cartridge are easy to fix. Open the valve assembly, remove the cartridge and reinsert it after turning it around (side closest to you when you removed it goes in first). Otherwise, the incoming plumbing needs to be redone at the point where the cold and hot lines come into the shower.
I hope this helps.
