If the machine at some predetermined time is not filled with ground coffee a volumetric container it stops. 1. Check if the knives rotating. 2. Look if the ground coffee falls in grup while it is milling. If you left the volumetric tank open. 3.Maybe the knives mechanism is not at the right possition.

I find with mine a saeco magic comfort plus, when I put the brew unit back, I slightly slam it in and that activates the micro switch which is very sensitive. Also sometimes just by slamming the outer door shut also works.

Unplug it to disconnect the electrical power. Reconnect it. Look for a "sensor" that determines when the hopper is filled -- is that "gummed-up" or "jammed" ?

First check the manual. Because you are not telling us what LED's are blinking. It could be anything from not enough water in the tank, till time to clean this. In the manual, you find what LED is telling you what can be wrong. Start on page 32.

Saeco 7P+ pricing is set mainly without programer. The machine has 2 pricing points so the price of the beverages can be set to one of the two prices. To change which price point the beverage is assigned to you need to use the programmer. Price point 1 is the lower price and price point 2 is the higher price. To change the price on all beverages, make sure there is power to the door. On the inside of the door the is a little circuit board with two red buttons. On the bottom side of that board is a little button that is normally black. Press this button and the screen should read 000. If you push up (which is the 1st beverage button) the screen will read 001 this is price point 1. Press enter (4th beverage button) to change the price and use the up and down keys (down is the 2nd button down). To change price point 2 press cancel (3rd beverage button down) if your in price point 1. If your in the menu at 001 just press up again and the screen will read 002. Repeat steps above to change. Normally all beverages are set to the same price, if this is the case than change both price points to the same price. It is better to set price point 2 first as price point 1 won't adjust higher than what price point 2 is set at. When done which the machine off then back on. Have fun.

When I had this error, I tracked it down to the thinner of the two data cables (grey with black plug) that plugs into the main board at the front near the steam tap. The plug had come loose and pushing it in fixed the Temper. Error at start-up. It's worth trying this first.

Alarm light: permanently on (one or more events): signals the machine is out of coffee, that the water tank is empty, or the drip tray is full. on and slowly fl ashing (one or more events): signals that the Brew Group is not inserted, the grounds drawer is not inserted, the cover of the coffee hopper is not closed, the service door is open. on and quickly fl ashing: signals the need to prime the water circuit.

Try holding the descaling button for 6-7 seconds (not 3 as the instructions say) until it stops flashing.

HELLO, I just found out that the door error might be caused by a sensor not realizing the magnet at the plastic cover. You can either change the magnet or simply "power it up" by another magnet. The magnet is located on the plastic top/cover. Hope this is helpful.

When the red light comes on as soon as we start the machine and starts the grup and grup stops or moves very slow then the problem is at the board which leads grup.Usually is transistor TIP33C.

I don't think this is the case. The E04 code is about lubrication of the brew group. This is directly from Saeco support in Germany. However, the problem does persist. It seems to be an issue of poor design more than anything else.

The ''clunking'' sound is usually from the movement of the grup.Rags of grated coffee prevent the correct function.
