How to get the saeco machine out of safe mode
Hello,
the boiler has two shields or breakers. Each has two feet between which there is a button. Something has happened and one button has leaped up and turned off. You have to press it and it will click lightly and make a chain and the machine will light up.

Error code 5 on saeco minuto coffee machine
Error code 5 means the water flow is obstructed. Here are possible locations:
1- The machine was not descaled. Calcium deposits are clogging the water system.
2- The flow meter is not passing impulses for water flow speed & quantity.
3- Descale Descale Descale.
Before you select the automatic descaling, make a few espresso without adding coffee grounds. The automatic cycle does not clean the coffee side of the machine. You have to do it intentionally. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

I have a saeco super automatica Leaking water
Take the brew unit out when the machine is off and cold. With your finger, check the well next to the large gear on the inside of the machine. This is the gear that fits in the back of the brew unit when it is in place. That well may be clogged with fine coffee grounds and some mildew build up. You might notice that after brewing, very little water will has been flowing into the drip tray. Take a Q-tip and push it through the hole at the bottom of the well to remove the coffee ground buildup. The excess water after brewing will flow through normally now and not behind the brew unit.
My Saeco Xsmall stops before brewing the coffee
1- The grind fineness setting is too fine. Pump is not able to pump through the compacted coffee grounds.
2- The machine is not descaled. The Calcium deposits in the hydraulic system have reduced the pump pressure. The partially clogged water passages can generate a back pressure to reduce pumping pressure. Was the machine descaled in the past two or three moths? If yes, what was the descaling product used?
3- The pump may be air locked and not able to pump water.
4- Oily beans may have been used. Oily beans are poison for the all fully automatic espresso machines. This clogs the grinding chamber or the grinder outlet. This model is made in Romania made in 2006 or after. This machine has a Ceramic Burr grinder 2006 which is a huge problem to clean adjust beans quantity per shot of espresso etc. etc. Occasionally it will dump dry coffee grounds when the quantity of beans powder is insufficient.
Based on the above details, you can figure out what is wrong and fix it. See the exploded parts diagram included, for help.

Saeco coffee machine won't allow milk dispenser to click in
If it's under warranty, call Saeco for guidance. If it's not, CAREFULLY clean every possible part using small brushes (old toothbrushes work well, as do coffee percolator/straw cleaning brushes. They're long and skinny and have a long wire stem and handle. found mine at Bed Bath and Beyond), q-tips and "canned air," like "Dust-Off" I'ts available at walmarts, some grocery stores, electronics shops, big box stores, etc.
if you REALLY feel daring and know a little bit about a lot of stuff, and it's NO longer in warranty, labeling every single piece as it's removed, take the machine apart as far as needed to see whether the problem is mechanical (dirty or clogged), or electrical/electronic. then re-assemble and test. ;-) good luck and hope you get it running!
