Note- hardness 1 is the max time length. hope this helps

Hello there,
The inlet solenoid is what you are talking about. It is when your pot gets overfilled with time that you need to replace the inlet solenoid. The solenoid is not the cause of the problem.
NOTE:You do not need to replace the solenoid.
In this case, you need to check the end of the steam nozzle for blockage, it is when it is blocked you will have the ventilate message showing up on the screen and then the hot water message will also be blinking and you will not be able to do anything on the machine.
You need to clear the nozzle of any form of blockage. If it is not blocked, then with the knob open for hot water cycle, push in on the knob.
If that works then the tap rod assemble or the steam valve needs to be replaced.
Would be glad to know if this information was helpful to you.
All the best

I have been having trouble with the coffee coming
2 things can cause this.
1. the grinder is set to fine abd you are creating to much pressure and the pump is having a hard time pushing water through.
2. You are getting a blockage in the brew head from coffee residue and oils.
Tru pushing the prre grind button and making a coffee without putting any coffee in. Blank shot. If it works its you grind. If not its your brew head. Needs to be cleaned.
