Hi
Like the Royal Pro machine and Royal Coffee, there is a water button on the Comfort that you need to press to run water. If when you press it and nothing happens you have a stuck solenoid, probably from scale build up. See what happens when you push the button with the drop of water or it may have many drops depending.

Steamer port is clogged

Hi
Could be but it could also be your steam solenoid. They will get stuck to where they can't open because ther is a calcium build up in the system. I would suspect that your water hardness is set too low. The best setting is 4. If you don't hear a cleck when you push the steam button its your solenoid.

When I remove the tank

The tank valve is consist from small piston and on its adje have a small rubber 'o' ring the piston move with a small spring.
The key in your problem is that finally you can make it stop leaking this mean that everything is in place and not completly damage, however you may still have it a bend spring or psiton and it can not seat in place directly or you may have a scale deposit arount the valve which blocking it from seat in its place. Also the plastic psiton or its base might have tear out so it loose and difficult ot seat in its place from the first time.
So the best solution since this not an expesive part is to replace the valve completly with anew one this will save you time and trouble.
Good luck

You followed the descaling the instructions you mean? There are no "above" instructions above your post. And did it appear to do a full descaling? It went through the whole process without issues I mean..?

Have you tried unplugging the device from the power source for a good 3 minutes, then replugging it in?

Does it function otherwise, or will not allow you to do normal operations?

Thanks

There is a lever at the top of the door on the right side. It may be inside. Pull the lever back 1 notch from the plus (+) . You are dumping too much coffee in the brew unit and it can not compress it, so it dumps it. Never push the lever all the way or it can cause this overcharge. Its fine if the brew group is clean but when you make coffee there is always a residue left and this is what causes the overcharge. The lever in on or behind the door, NOT under the bean hopper!

How do i reset the levels for small and medium

Try reprogramming the machine. Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button.
If that doesn't fix it, then you might need a new flow meter.

How to descale machine

Hi
If you have the Magic Comfort + here are the directions.
To automatically descale your machine, press the scoop button and hold it down until you enter the menu. Use the arrows on the left to scroll down until you come to Descale. Press enter and the machine will enter the mode to descale your machine. The process takes about 45 minutes. You don't have to do a thing except mix a full water tank with descaling solution and have a container under the steam wand when your start. If you have a cappuccinonatori on your machine you will need two containers. To start the descaling process, simply turn the steam knob. When the process is over your machine will say "Descale finished". Remove your water tank and rinse it out. Refill it with fresh water. Replace on the machine and start the descaling process over again to rinse your machine. Go back into your menu and scroll up or down 1 to signal descale and enter. Choose "Yes" and push enter so the machine will tell you when you need to descale again.

Our Comfort machine won't brew and constantly

Hi
The magnet in the water tanks is either upside down or has sunk to the bottom of the tank. It should float to the top of the cage it is in and it should have a flat top not rounded. If its rounded side up the magnet is upside down. This is what would cause your problem.

Brew unit missing

Hi
Open the door on the right. The brew unit is the thing with the handle that has the "press" on it. You need to push on the upper left side of the brew unit until it clicks. There is an outlet spout on the opposite side of where you are pushing. It goes into an intake port that needs to be lubed, so the outlet spout will slide in without pushing back. That should take care of the missing brew unit.

Saeco Magic Comfort Plus dumps brewed coffee into

First remove brew unit and clean the shower screen that is under the red gasket, then adjust the grind about 2 numbers coarser, then try making a coffee, if you have the same problem then the steam valve needs to be replaced.
try to clean the machine run a complete brewing cycle using white vinegar in place of water. Follow with 2 complete cycles using plain water. Water quality in many places is not so good. The heat of the brewing process causes the solids (calcium, lime, &tc) in the water (especially HARD water) causes scale to form on the inside of the tubing. This not only affects the taste of the coffee (or even tea), but slows the brewing time by preventing water flow due to decreased diameter of the tubing.
