Why does my Kitchenaid dishwasher put a white film
Hi
If the water inlet
valve is fine and it fills with water then the issue seems to be with the float
switch assembly that is bad and should be replaced. Float assembly is found
inside the dishwasher's tub, on the bottom. The water that fills the dishwasher
lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for
the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby
shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may
interfere with dishwasher's filling and/or draining ability. Use voltmeter to
test the switch. Set the device to the ohms setting x 1. Take each probe and
touch them to one switch terminal each. This should produce a reading of either
zero or infinity. Continue to touch the probes to the terminals, and press down
on the switch's button. The reading should change to the opposite extreme. If
the switch fails either of these tests, you should replace it. Hope this helps...please post back for
further assistance.

Water in bottom of dish
Hi,
According to the information you gave, your model had an issue with the thermo fuse inside the control panel inside the door. This can blow for only one reason, the wires carried heat back to it. In the replacement kit link below, you will find a line break, this line break will prevent this from happening again. Fail to install this kit completely will end up doing it again.
Fuse Kit
Please install completely, you can purchase this from any part house or from the link I sent you.
Good Luck.

Dishwasher leaks water
hi there,
dishwasher leaking might be due to either of these causes, check these:
Main tub seal
Note… If the main motor of your dishwasher is mounted vertically, beneath the center bottom
of the dishwasher, the following instructions probably apply to you.
But if your motor is mounted horizontally, the pump isn't serviceable--you need to replace the
entire pump and motor assembly.
The main tub seal is beneath the drain impeller. It prevents the water in the dishwasher from
leaking out near the shaft of the motor. To get to the seal, which is inside the dishwasher,
remove the:
* Lower rack
*Spray arm
* Spray arm support
* Wash/drain impellers
Then try the seal out of its housing and replace it.
Door gasket or seal
Over time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly.
You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak.
Water-inlet valve
The water-inlet valve, itself, seldom leaks. But, the water-supply line from the house and the
rubber tube leading from the valve to the inside of the dishwasher may leak. Tighten
or repair/replace these as necessary.
The water-inlet valve could mechanically stick open. When that happens, the water continues
to flow into the dishwasher, which then floods your kitchen. Turn off the water supply to the
dishwasher, and replace the valve.
Hoses
Behind the lower access panel on your dishwasher are several rubber or plastic hoses. If the
leak appears at a connection, try a new clamp. If that doesn't work, replace the hose.
Soap gets clotted is soap dispenser. Dishes greasy
Hi, the
soap is clotting because there isn't enough water being sprayed around
inside. The water spray washes the soap out of the dish, if all is
working well. My machine had the same problem. I had sufficient water
level, but the spray head wasn't spinning very well. I found the
end-most hole in the spray bar to be plugged. It is the end hole that
provides a jet that makes the head spin. I cleaned a bunch of debris
out of the hole and the machine started working and cleaning like it was
new.
The clean light is flashing

Top sprayer is not cleaning dishes. No water is
There may be one of two problems here and you're going to have to stick your head inside the dishwasher to solve either of them by yourself. First, in the back of the washer is a tube that goes up to the top shelf. The sprayer tube fits OVER the mouth of the other tube and then carries the water to the arm. Sometimes the support brackets for this tube become dislodged and the sprayer tube just droops but doesn't connect with the water tube. Check this first and reattach the brackets.
If this is not the problem, you might have to remove the sprayer arm (should be a screw or bolt under the arm) and flush it at the sink. There may also be pieces of paper or fragments of bone or fruit and vegetable peels stuck in the spray openings. If these won't slush out, you'll need to remove them with tweezers.
I hope this helps. It always works for me. If I have helpee, please come back and rate my suggestion!
