Saniflo will not turn off

Depending on the pump model, it can be a problem with the float swich (pressure chamber) it might be stuck in the on position, or the float switch which is a rubber membrane might be warped, if it is then it will need to be replaced. Could also be solids build up at the bottom of the float switch, not allowing it to shut off.

My saniflo (saniplus) is making a slight whirring

Sounds like the outlet pipe blocked, it should be connected by a short rubber pipe , use this to connect a hose from a cold tap and flush the blockage.

Pump wont stop

The following are the possible problems and solutions:
  1. The tank flapper (Flush Valve) leaking allowing water into bowl. Make sure flapper is fully seated. If flapper is fully seated and still is leaking replace flapper.
  2. Faulty Non-Return Check Valve, water leaking back into Macerator. Clean and Inspect check valve replace if after clean water still flows back into Macerator.
  3. Check micro switch, the micro switch turns on pump when the water level reaches to a determined level. Location of switch is in the pressure chamber. Check to see if switch is sticking. Note: For safety Macerator should never be operated with lid open
I hope this answers your question and gives you a few more places to look. Please rate the answer on it's helpfulness. Good Luck and have a great day. Jeff

Low water level in saniflo toilet

Is it always low? Could be a partial blockage in the out flow pipe, causing the pump to stay on, or a sticking/dirty pump switch.

Saniflo will not turn off

I have similar problem - try descaling then empty unit (with electric disconnected) clean unit (worth a gentle jet wash outside!). Lift motor out and check rubber membrane so see if still soft. Also check the plastic shut off valve on the top.

Water running into the bowl after flush and refil

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE BALL-**** (FLOAT SWITCH) IN THE CISTERN IS SET TOO HIGH UP. THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT MODELS BUT ALL SHOULD BE EASILY ADJUSTED. HAVE A LOOK INSIDE THE CISTERN AND ADJUST THE FLOAT SO THAT THE WATER STOPS AT A LOWER LEVEL. IF THE WATER IS CONTINUOSLY FLOWING INTO THE CISTERN WHEN FULL YOU MIGHT NEED A NEW INLET WASHER

Sanivite 3 makes humming noise and no longer pumps water out

Jonathan: You need to remove the pump from the shell and make sure the grinding impeller is not cloged up with hair or other junk. Also, is you drain line out of the unit completly clear?

Where is float switch

Fred:It is actually a air switch that as the water rises in the unit, the air pressure increases in the tube connected to it and it triggers the air switch to run the unit for a predetermined amount of time. The switch is mounted to the board under the cover. See photo. The air switch is made by Lefoo (China)12_1_2011_4_29_48_pm.jpg

The motor on my saniflo

Check the pressure switch that activates the pump (clear plastic piece about 1 inch round 1/4" thick with a couple wires, should be on a rubber tube). The switch should pull out of the rubber tube easily and is probably plugged with gunk, clean out with a toothpick carefully. Remember to discard toothpick!

Dear Sir / Madam I have

yes taking the fuse out is very good idea and/or shutting off the breaker beyond that it sounds like the motor may be going. there is no way for me to say for sure but as a retired contractor i would suggest calling a professional as replacing/repairing such units can be a very dirty job for a novice. sorry for your trouble and good luck:)
