Saniflo & Saniplus& Macerator Pump - Page 3 Questions & Answers
My sanivite is not pumping the water out or its extremely slow
Make sure the vent on top of the unit is not obstructed. Did someone flush something that isn't supposed to be flushed? Baby wipes or feminine napkins are an absolute no-no. If the macerator blades have been tangled from something like these items, it will have to be taken apart to be cleaned. DW

When flushed or running water it runs on for a long time before turning off
It sounds like the flipper valve in the tank is not closing completely and may need to be adjusted or replaced. To adjust the flapper, all you have to do is make sure that the attached chain is not obstructing the valve and is long enough to allow the flapper to close completely, not allowing water to pass through, once it is completely down. If water continues to flow past it in the down position, you will have to replace it. I recommend buying a toilet repair kit. These can be purchased at any hardware store and are easy to install, if you are somewhat handy. If not, I suggest that you call a plumber.

Toilet pumps when not in use
sounds as though there may be a trickle of water going in to the pan from the cistern. To check you could turn OFF the water to the cistern, or tie the float arm up. then flsu the water in the cistern so that no more water will trickle in to the loo. Leave it a goodly time, several hours say, and monitor if it still runs for a few mins every hour. Actually running for two/three mins is rather a long time but first i would think you need to eliminate the possibility of the above steady trickle from the cistern.
