ERROR STUCK KEY F2EO

If you have tried to get the pad free from the fault code by messing with the buttons, it's probably going to have to be replaced. You nay trying to access the pad and pull the 'ribbon connector' and slide it back on, sometimes that brings them back to life. I looked up the part number for you and you can buy the new touch pad here and pop it in yourself:

Oven does not turn off

I'm having the same problem with model KGRK806. There's asking for $221 for the control panel part and another $180 for labor.

** If you want to continue using don't unplug or flip the breaker. Instead set the cook duration for 1 minute and it will auto shut off.

Just purchased a KitchenAid KGRI801PBS00 and oven

If you purchased this used you may the previous owner may have used the self cleaning feature and thus thethermal fuse is now blown, a known issue with Kitchen Aid ovens apparently. The good news is that the fuse is a part that you can purchase online and replace yourself

I started a self clean on my oven, and then shut it off, the door opened, now it will not close, seem like the latch is in the lock posistion. help

For an oven self cleaning problem, the first thing to check is the door lock motor and switch assembly. Every self cleaning oven door has a locking mechanism to prevent the door from being opened during the cleaning cycle. An oven self cleaning problem often happens after a clean cycle has been run. If that happens, more often then not the lock assembly will need to be replaced. The door lock motor and switch assembly, over time, fail due to the high temperatures that are encountered during the cleaning cycle. Here is the part to order.

All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Inoperable KGRE801PBS00 Kitchenaid oven

1) unplug and turn your gas valve off
2) with a #2 phillips remove all the silver screw on the back of your stove (this will make is to you can remove the stainless splashguard)
3) there are several black screw holding on a removable (stainless) panel that covers the back of the stove - your culprit (thermal fuse) is under here).
4) on the back of the oven you'll see the back of a couple of fixtures (stove light, temp sensor etc). <-- do not touch these..
5) there is another attachment (attached with black #2 robertson screws).. it has two black wires plugged into it.. this is your thermal fuse - mine has a number 8300802 on it.

I had to replace this (18bucks) from my local hardware store. Unfortunately, these stupid ovens have this part recurring so buy a few.

At your own risk - when reinstalling, slip a little cardboard between the thermal fuse sensor (stainless flat side) and the stove.. you may save a few headaches..

this repair was an easy one compared to replacing the board on this stupid oven.. (i would not recommend buying one - typical north american engineering designed to keep the repair folks working)..

i guess you need to find a different way to screw the consumer eh KitchenAid? lol

have fun

My oven doesn't work.

before you replace the control panel, take a quick look inside the oven at the ceramic spark starter.. when you (tyr to) turn your oven on you should hear a bunch of little snap sounds.. sparks trying to light the burners inside the oven..

if you try to use the element (broil) without the gas - you'll get a better bearing on whether or not the gas element(s) are lighting or not inside the oven..

hope that helps..

Over door locked!

they say unplug it for about 6hours.. when you plug it back in, reset the clock and hold the 'off' button for a couple of seconds..

it worked for me after my thermal fuse blew..

good luck

Stove top difficult to light

your gas jets are dirty.. clean them with a toothbrush (after everything is cooled down).. you can use the selfclean to clean the iron pieces that cover the burners..

be careful with kitchen aid self cleaning.. there is a known issue with the thermal fuses blowing quite easily on most self cleaning cycles..

good luck

Same problem - the Off Button won't work

this is the beginning to a board problem - sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you are looking at about 120.00 to get a new board..

this problem is caused because kitchen aid idiots didnt engineer a fluid barrier between the grill top and the control panel.. lol.. good old north american engineering..

you probably had something boil over and short some part of your control board out..

the replacement board is a pretty straightforward installation.. (if you are brave, go for it.. if you are comfortable working inside your computer case than it should be a no brainer for you)..

remember to unplug the stove and turn your gas valve off.. safety first..

good luck..
