Oven won't shut off
It sounds like the control panel has a short in it for the off button. I did some research on that particular model and it seems that this is a common problem along with the whole panel going out. I did a quick search to see if there was any recalls on that model and didn't find any but I would suggest that you look into it futher. I am including a web page that has some consumer reviews that you should read.

Where is the service manual
check the back of the stove up on top,if not there pull out the bottom draw, check the back of draw, check the opening where the draw slides into, could be taped to the frame or if someone worked on it they could have taken it,it should be in a plastic bag taped somewhere in the spots i told you.good luck if nobody else worked on it hopefully it will be with the stove
Kitchenaid KGSS907 oven door locked while in self clean mode
It locks so you dont open it during the cleaning cycle. It gets very hot so it burns everything stuck fast to a crisp. after cycle is over and temp drops it will unlock. dont worry about a small amount of fire as long as it dosent get too big it should be fine. Might make alot of smoke though.
Glow bar lights up, but oven does not heat up all
You oven sensor is what detects the temp and relays it back to the control. Here it is:
$75 bucks for the exactamundoYou can buy an oven sensor on ebay way cheaper. Replacement is easy.Sometimes if the connection is corroded you can bypass it and it will magically work some more.Just check it for 1100 ohms at 75 degrees and make sure ether wire is not grounded .
If the connected looks contaminated cut it out and bypass it. That might be all it takes. The new part will come needing to be spliced in.
If the sensor is fine then the oven control is what will need to be replaced. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

I have a kitchenaid gas
Hello,
Unfortunitly i myself a tech of 30 years has no idea what the code 0164 means and have only ever see error codes with E/F so on that sorry no help. HOWEVER having replaced the spark module and EOC i would suspect the only thing else that could be causing the oven/broiler to not ignite is the electrodes(igniters) and would go ahead and replace those as well.
