Kohler 3386-6 Rialto Skylight Round Front Toilet - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Kohller Rialto toilet, can not get toilet to seat
If you tried regular sized wax rings and they failed to seal, try using a double thickness wax ring, maybe the space between the floor flange and the toilet exceeds a regular wax ring size. If the floor has been re-tiled and the floor flange was not adjusted this could be your problem, anyhow good luck!
Kohler one-piece lowboy..rialto? leaks from suply below tank
I'm assuming based on your post that the leak is outside the toilet near the inlet to the fill valve. Based on 10 years in the business, there shouldn't be holes in or near this place. Have you tried replacing the fill valve? If you go to the hardware store and look at a new fill valve, you will find that there aren't any holes. They aren't expensive, so I would just replace it.
How do you adjust the float valve in a kohler one
You will see a metal clip on the rod that connects to the square float lightly compress the clip for more water in tank lower clip for less raise the clip if this does not work you need to service the valve
I have a kohler toilet that needed a new seat.
Now isn't that a trick. Epoxy! The bolts, now studs, must be quite short. Well, glad you got it resolveve. I hope your house has more than one restroom..That epoxy will need a day or two toset up properly. :) Thank you for the reply. We all learn from each other.
Toilet doesn't flush hard enough and some
check water level in tank if low adjust float to proper level inside tank will see a level line also check flap as to opening all the way may have to adjust chain if problem continues hard water can cause build up in water holes and narrow tank to bowl tube
Water running off and on and comes out from top piece.
you unfortunately need a new fill valve. I say unfortunately because they are expensive, (about $120), for that model and not everywhere sells them. It it was a "regular" toilet, the part would be a any home store and cost about $10. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. How old is the toilet? You may consider replacing the whole thing.
Running toilet
Mine does that also, here's what I found.; I am on a well and occasionaly sand gets caught in the valve thingy... Take the tank lid off, turn the arm that attaches to the float assy. 1/4 turn towards the back of the tank and take it out. Rinse off the gasket and pin as well as inside the hole. Reassemble and it should solve your problem.
Valve adjustment
You need to replace the flapper and you will need to purchase one specifically for the Kohler toilet. I have the same toilet and tried using a generic flapper and from experiance, it didn't work until I bought the correct one and I'm a plumber! Have a great night.
Need password for a stolen file
Okay. The question is a bit lacking in details. Password for what? Password ON what? Where was the file stolen from? Who stole the file? What is the file content. What is the file extension (the bit after the file name and the period file_name.what)?
All questions need to start 'make model (what it is)' first 3 words. And then a clear question.
For the 13 people that have tagged this 10 year old question, it is better to post your own question.
