Very slow refill on tank. How to adjust?

Hi carlson33 19...

I would say your fill valve (ballcock) has trash in it or needs to be replaced because of age.

If you replace it you can get the "ballcock" from just about any hardware supply,Home Depot,Lowes...etc.. and I would recommend the replacement of the "flapper valve" also at the same time.
All the instructions for adjusting are on the package of the ballcock...
This should solve your problem.

Water level to low in bowl

Welcome to the days of politically correct toilets! You are saving water, energy, and helping keep people smiling and assisting animals to give abundant milk! Does a low-flow toilet do all of these things? Of course not, but you are suppose to FEEL good about it, even though you have to flush it TWICE or THREE TIMES to get it to do it's job!

Toilet is clogged .

Pull the toilet up and look underneath it for a toy that got stuck. Also, look down the waste pipe for a toy that got stuck or for tampons.

Your not supposed to flush tampons down the toilet, because they are super absorbent and get stuck down the pipe, which inhibits waste flow. Especially the tampons with wings, cause they grip on the the side walls like the Dickens. You can rent a drain snake and send it down the waste pipe a few times to clear the clog. Make sure the bathroom vent is on and the windows open, because the smell is most disagreeable.

Alternatively, before going into this invasive procedure-you can go to Ace hardware and buy a bottle of Liquid Fire and pour it down the toilet to see if that clears things up. You can also order Liquid Fire online. This stuff dissolved a python rather quickly that had gotten into the waste pipe and clogged the thing up.

Cheers old chap.

I am looking for a gasket between the tank and

It looks like you have a Jacuzzi Perfecta.
This model came in two flavors:

  • the 300 MaP flush performance (with an elongated bowl, #BN30959), and
  • the 350 MaP (with a rounded bowl, #BN31959).
Both use the BN30 BN31 tank.

If you have trouble finding a gasket, you might consider using plumbers' putty.

My jacuzzi toilet won't quit filling, I have

You gonna have to replace the whole fill valve mechanism. Go to the hardware store and get the Korky brand, because they work like a champ and they are super quiet. Don't buy Fluid Master because they clog easily and are junk. Learned that the hard way after having to 3/4 of them on a 42 unit apartment complex.

I flush the toilet, tank

Go to the hardware store and get a new flush valve flap made by Korky and install it. Your flush valve flap has worn out and allowing water to leak through.

My toilet is sweating extensively,

Condensate can build up around the outside of a toilet bowl and that's often referred to as "sweating".
Condensate is caused when the air is very humid and an object (in this case, the toilet tank) is colder than the air.
Look up something called "dew point"; that describes the point at which the water that is suspended in the air will start to condense on cooler objects.
Dehumidifiers and refrigeration type air conditioners can help reduce condensate.
You can remove the float and stem by doing the following:
1. turn the water off and flush the toilet . Hold the handle for a while to make certain that you get as much water out as possible, then remove the rest of the water using a towel or whatever means available.
2. Look where the water supply line feeds into the tank. There should be a nut that holds the pipe to the tank. Remove the nut then carefully move the pipe a little out of the way... not much.
3. There should be ANOTHER nut that attaches the float assembly. Remove it and note where the rubber washers are. You may even want to replace the washers when you're done, to make certain that the tank doesn't leak.
4. When you remove that nut, the float assembly may stick a little, but gently work it "back and forth" a little and you should be successful.
Good luck

Jacuzzi sent me new rubber gasket for attaching

The rubber washer goes to the inside of the tank under the flush valve which gets screwed on with the large plastic nut on the bottom side of the tank. Then the foam gasket fits over the plastic nut which goes into the toilet bowl hole for the water to flow into the bowl. Tank needs to be removed from the toilet bowl.

Jacuzzi espirit less than 1

Your symptoms point to a faulty "fill valve" (the piece with the float adjustment), and is most commonly caused by small particles caught inside from normal use or a mineral build up. To save time and energy i recommend you replace it with a Lavelle "Quiet Fill" fill valve available at most hardware or plumbing stores or online. They come with very easy to follow install instructions.
