Krups Caffe Bistro 867 Espresso & Coffee Maker - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Stop n serve came off
Notice the pot. It holds 12 Canadian cups or 6
mugs of coffee. The sides of the pot are straight and the pot is
calibrated in cups although you cannot see the calibrations in this
photo.
They are drip machines that all brew coffee the same way. You put the
coffee in the basket and cold water in the tank. The machine brings the
coffee to the basket but boils it on the way to the basket. Therefore
the coffee is always the same. They all have the feature that lets you
pull the pot out safely while it is still brewing. That is great if you
can't wait for the machine to finish brewing all the coffee.

Nothing comes out the expresso side. The steamer
This indicates the problem of
flow meter was not working. The flow meter is located between the water tank and the pump.
This is procedure how to test if flow meter is cause: Open coffee machine and pull out flow meter (do not disconnect it, just unscrew it from housing), prepare any magnet (neodimium magnet if possible), press the button to start making coffee. Coffee machine will start, then stop for a second, then start again. When it starts again put magnet close to flow meter's contacts and then move the magnet away and keep repeating that moves very fast. If coffee machine is working fine then you have to replace flow meter.

Switched it on to heat,
on the circuit board is a relay that supplies the power by switching it on and off ,which is controlled by the thermostat ,now these relays often get burnt contacts inside and they need a new relay which has to be soldered in ,this is not really a home type repair that i would recomend but take it to a local repairman as they have to be stripped and the relay soldered in onto the circuit board which is easy with the right tools .

No power on the coffee maker/clock. Expresso side
Look for a defective heater, thermostat, safety thermal fuse, or a possible interconnecting wire is broken. This not considered a homeowner repair as it involves mains power and if the safety fuse blew, something made it fail. Because this is likely to be fairly expensive to repair (at a service shop), you should get an estimate and compare that to a new machine. Hope this helps!

Warming plate trips GFI.
Well, it's still a short to ground. But sounds like it's not simple. Needs to go to the shop, unless you want to try your hand at it.

Water steams away and nothing drips into the caraffe
I had this problem too and finally found a fix for it.
I don't know if the cause of this issue is the same for everyone experiencing the problem, but the issue for me was hard water. The fix is to run vinegar mixed with water through the machine quite a few times, until it starts to run normally.
If you do have hard water issues, it's recommended that you run vinegar or citric acid through the machine about once a month, to keep deposits from building up.

Krups 867 will not light up led pad is dead
Thanks! I
figured it out...tested the wiring and found that one of the thermo fuses was
blown (the one under the caraffe). I found a matching pair on eBay and after
getting it, just soldered it in as a replacement. Everything works now- the
LED, everything- in fact, I'm drinking a cup of coffee from the unit right now.
The only issue that I'm now having is that it seems to take longer than before
to make a pot and there is more guggling and just louder noise from the unit.
I've checked all hoses and they are secure- I even added silicone to the joints
to make sure no air was getting in. If it is, the crack or break is in a
section of the aluminum pipes that I can't get to, but there are no leaks from
the Krups, so who know. Still makes great coffee and this thing is at least 15
years old!

Bissell pro heat 2x model 9200
With this purchase date, this has a years warranty, may be better to take it in for warranty service, they can void your warr. if you take it apart. The 2 spray nozzles may also be clogged. But these pictures may help:

Mineral/calcium buildup
I'm curious about the performance of the heater on this pot. Your output temp should be about 180 degrees F. Allow some of the water to run through the system and into a large mug. Measure the temp. If it is low, your problem may be the thermostat.
